Come for the “Staffers say Fulmer’s also known to watch game film alongside coaches in the staff meeting rooms throughout the season.”
Stay for this:
Those departures bring to 11 the number of assistant coaches to bolt Rocky Top in Pruitt’s 37 months on the job. He’s lost coordinators on both sides of the ball, his strength coach and, most recently, confidante Will Friend to first South Carolina and then Auburn.
… On the field, Tennessee is seeing its top defensive back, Bryce Thompson, exiting early to test the NFL Draft and in-state running back Ty Chandler graduate-transfer from the program. The Vols are among the nation’s leaders with more than a dozen players in the NCAA Transfer Portal.
The Vols are gonna need a bigger boat.
Sucks to suck.

Is Chaney still there? Said he lost coordinators on both sides of the ball.

Tyson Helton was OC in Pruitt’s first year (the turnover count). Chaney is still there.

That may be one of the most satisfying outcomes of all of this.

I know that Cade was ultimately in enough control of his own decision making, but it was still parenting malpractice to endorse and encourage that transfer.

That stupid ass could have been an early round pick this year if he had stay here. Now he has to come back to that s—tshow and play on a 3 win team. He won’t have any press or pub or prime time games. Karma…

Apparently Dan Patrick, whom WE ALL KNOW is so clued-into college football 🙄🙄🙄, has a “source” that says Georgia is in real trouble for getting “sloppy” in recruiting.
Do with that what you will.

Hot take from Dan about college ball is a joke. Name your damn source, it’s another reporter. Dan has no sources except other sports writers.

Of course he doesn’t. He’s a clown when it comes to College Football. He knows less than nothing.
He’s the guy who had a “source” who told him that Wisconsin was going to shut down their football stadium and turn Camp Randall into a field hospital to Covid-19.
Ridiculous.

If the seating in their film room is anything like that cramped stadium, about a dozen staffers have to take a giant deep breath and and make themselves as slim as possible so fulmer can take a seat.
On the one (1) occasion I went to neyland, my immediate thought when seeing all those orange fatsos on the bench seating was “they’re gonna need a bigger shoehorn”. In other words, its a fricken shithole of a stadium! But hey, it looks good on them.

“At one point during Mims’ recruitment, a high school coach asked fans for donations during a live stream video from the lineman’s Instagram account. The coach noted that the donations from fan bases could be the deciding factor in Mims’ recruitment.
It’s unclear if that video had anything to do with the current investigation at Tennessee or what Patrick is referencing with his recent comments but it’s just one example of how interesting Mims’ recruitment was leading up to his decision to sign with Georgia.
Either way, it looks like we will have plenty of storylines to watch this offseason in Knoxville and Athens if Patrick’s report is accurate.”
