Ford v. Ferrari. Enzo tips his hat to Ken Miles after the race. That’s symbolic of the East coaches as the season ended and they know we’re “faster”.
ps. I loathe Ferrari so this works for me, ok? YMMV

Im going to see stuff like this all off-season, only to get my engine revved up, and then to be disappointed by the Georgia Way on the field next year.

Daniels and Nix are the only 2 coming back next year, right?

I thought Corral was coming back. Wrong?

Amazing and certainly enjoyable stat that makes the off season so much better than most in the past 35 years.
Not sure if it’s my inner Munson or its that I’ve been waiting so long. Every time we get close something happens to derail us creating. The we’re Georgia why can’t we have nice things too thoughts. I won’t list all those events, dumb coaches at the wrong time, they are too numerous or painful, even single plays that forever changed our future going all the back to coach Dooley and Pitt. How do we keep this time keep everyone healthy, eligible and focused for 15 weeks.
I don’t claim to know the answer. I do feel we have a guy in charge that’s learned some hard lessons and is working his tail off to finally break that cycle. Every team that wins a NC needs a little luck even if it’s just avoiding keys injuries or even getting a bouncing ball to roll your way at the right time. Good luck is more likely to come to those who are the most prepared. Kirby knows the process it’s keep grinding hard work and focus on doing your job better than the guy in front of you. Effort and composure are by learned by hard work and repetition.
Kirby is one of us and understands better than any fan how much we want those nice things. He has loaded the wagon with the outstanding talent and assembled a staff that knows how to best deploy those players. You can count on one hand every season the number of teams that have the combination of players and right coaches for those players win a NC. By seasons end rarely are there ever more than just 2 or 3 teams that are truly special. LSU 2019 was lighting in a bottle and a whole lotta good luck at the right time. Teams like Bama, tOSU and now Georgia annually are at the top of the recruiting food chain. Teams like Clemson and OU due conference schedules also have an easier path to the CFP.
I’ll keep saying it until proven wrong. Once Kirby slays Bama and I believe he will. Then wins his first NC he’ll start a run unlike any ever have ever seen creating a golden age of Georgia football and become the only Georgia coach with more than one NC.

Hank,
I get your point I won’t disagree based on past performance.
All dynasties end I’m saying we are better set up than any team in the SEC to kill the king. Never since Saban took control have I felt we are set up better than then right now. No more waiting I do add the normal disclaimers like injuries, Athens PD or meteor strikes.
Kirby has made plenty of mistakes granted. For me hiring Chaney and allowing his old stale offense to start his tenure was a really big one.
When Nick Chubb said I’m coming back for 2017 others decided I want to be there with him. We may never again see two running backs on the field for us at the same time like 27 & 1. With their game breaking talent a true freshman QB along with Smith and Carter pushing the defense it’s amazing we could have won that NC. There so many numerous moments after the fact to pick out in the second half of the NC to blame Kirby for I won’t argue with anyone blaming him. Nor would I disagree with anyone saying it was Chaney’s predictable play calling or anything else. The what if’s are endless and all impossible to prove either way. Just like saying what if Kirby benched Fromm in 2018 starting Fields game one and never playing Fromm again. Chaney would have made Justin the player he is today and Monday it’s us in the NC. Either side of that debate will always have plenty to support their opinions. Me I don’t believe Chaney capable of that.
Right now looking forward starting with Clemson and the rest of this decade it’s just my opinion no team in the SEC is better set up to go on an epic run than Georgia. Kids want to win now. Given how well Kirby recruits now and the resources available to him. I really believe if he wins a NC in the next three years. He will then be cherry picking annually which 25 kids best fit our seasonal needs. Coaches will want to be here to just as much as the kids. If you have read this far you probably think I’m drinking too much happy sauce or something like straight 151 rum or over self medicating. Neither one I’m just looking at my own 30,000 foot view of what could be compared the 13 other teams in our league.
It’s always great the be a Georgia Bulldawg now I think it’s going to be even more fun.

I agree with your thoughtful points. I did chuckle with one. What coach doesn’t want to win now? It’s one of those funny phrases we recycle.

Are you attacking Bobo as a QB coach or the program’s recruiting? (I assume you know JT3 was gonna be on our roster no matter what.)

Attacking the idea that bobo turns bad qbs into good qbs with coachin’ ‘em up. Not suggesting bobo is unique in that regard. Pretty sure Bo Nix has received good coaching. He hasn’t taken advantage of it tho.

With all due respect, Hutson Mason would disagree with you. See 2014 stats. Bobo can coach em up.

Hutson had good stats in hs too didn’t he? That’s why he got a scholarship.
Seems to me that for the most part the really good qbs bobo recruited did well (Stafford, Shockley, Murray). The mediocre ones did mediocre (Mason, Cox) and the bad ones stayed bad (Joe T III, Bauta, Gray.) About what you’d expect from any oc/qb coach.
Now tell me about bobo coaching up Brice Ramsey.

You’re right, Bobo is the only OC ever to recruit a prospect that didn’t pan out. Even Bama knew Ramsey was a bust. Got it.

I suggest he throws the ball to Pickens.

Pickens will get some serious attention from defenses..that’s what makes Daniels so dangerous He’ll have options (at least one who can run past defenses faster than a speeding bullet) open because of it.

Six of these things belong together. Six of these things are kinda the same. But one of these things just doesn’t belong here. And now it’s time to play our game. It’s time to play our game!
We have, for the first time in truly ever, an offense to be feared. Not a Bobo offense that dominates weaker opponents 10 out of 12 games, but looks pedestrian in the two games that matter. No, we have an offense that can bring us to the level of the Bamas, Clemsons, and tOSUs.
Halle-fucking-lujah!

I’m usually not one for over-hyping things but the offense should be unstoppable next season. The only thing that could stop it is itself.

Or poor OL play but I don’t expect that to happen.
