Even Montana knows.

Chaser.

The preseason narrative writes itself, doesn’t it?

Great news! Really looking forward to our offense next season. Maybe this will put to end the “narrative” of a culture problem at Georgia.

Good news…thinks this coming season will be his best.

Seems to getting some of his wiggle back, speed seems to be mostly back and runs with power.

Pulling for him, SO much potential coming out of HS. He deserves everything good coming his way. A good decision for him imo.

Another year with Monken and he will be catching passes out of the back field. We saw with Chubb it takes two years to get it back. Look out !!!

      That is, if you’re a Dawg fan….

This^! We haven’t played them during their dynasty but more that 2/3ds of the time we beat Clemson. If we were able to do it then we should be able to do it now.
With that being said “Mac’s Speed Shack” is a good restaurant/bar conveniently located near the tram/shuttle that takes you to the stadium. Maybe some of us can meet up there prior to the game barring Covid and/or other bullshit. I’ll be the guy in the red shirt who has been over served.

Mac’s os definitely good, but lots of new things in Uptown around the stadium. I know I am not the only Charlotte Dawg on here. As we get closer, I can definitely offer some recommendations.

        • That just reminded me, Ive never been to the cocktail party, and this is a great year for me to try as I could get the weekend free and clear. The other thing stopping me has been ticket cost, ,maybe I get lucky. In theory, we can leave that morning, maybe only need to stay one night.

Just a heads up, most of the hotels in the Jax area have a 3 night minimum the weekend of the cocktail party….
Not sure about places like Jekyll, I always stayed in Jax out by the beach (I also lived there for 7 yrs so didnt have to worry about travel, just my maniac friends coming down).

Remember when Richt signed a massive class with some nice headliners to round out his numbers? And it kind of imploded on him?

Dabo signed 30 guys in 2019. Mostly 3 stars. If you want the main reason they looked outclassed by OSU athletically, that’s a big reason why. They’re not bringing elite guys off the bench.

Those guys will all be juniors next year. That senior class started with 17 guys. Trevor’s gone and Ross is medically DQed.

They’ve got issues. DJ might spend most of that game running for his life.

They will have a pretty stout DLine though… starting with Murphy and Brese. I think as good as any we will see next year, playoffs included.

But the problem with being a 5 star surrounded by 3s is that it’s easier to double you or run away from you.

They’ll be a problem, but the rest of their D looks average. They couldn’t cover OSU’s guys at all

This is obviously excellent news, but man, roster management is gonna get tricky with all these underclassmen staying and a record number of early enrollees coming in.

  6. The replies to Mandel’s tweet say a lot about the perception of the Dawgs. Time to make those folks eat crow.

With all these RB’s and especially #6 coming back, I hope Kirby isn’t tempted back into the manball frame of mind!
Don’t they all have pretty good hands? If we can use backs as receivers out of the backfield (like Bama) then shazaaam!
      This is getting good!

“DDT: 2021 SCHEDULE IS VOID OF SEC WEST POWERHOUSES FOR GEORGIA”
For all you delusional Auburn fans, yes we are still playing you. It’s just that you’re not an SEC West powerhouse.

I’m glad he’s coming back. Still don’t think we’re seeing his full potential. Before he blew his second he was scary explosive.

Very unpopular opinion here so hold tight…

I was sort of hoping he went ahead and declared. First of all, for his sake, as another significant injury would likely end his career and that kid and his family deserve to get paid.

Secondly, I reeeeeally want to see more totes for McIntosh and Milton. Add in Cook and there’s very few carries to go around.

I mean don’t take this as a complaint, necessarily, but I don’t feel like I did when Davis and Salyer said they were returning

If Kirby can coach the DB’s up so we don’t give up the long ones, I think the rest of the D can handle the schedule. I agree though, I hope Zeus can stay healthy.

Generally speaking, think it’s too early to celebrate returning talent. Yeah, we kept some great players from defecting to the NFL, but once the NCAA pulls the trigger on a penalty-free transfer option there’s going to be all kinds of movement. That’s great for UGA insofar as we need to snag an experienced CB or two. But happy as I am about Zeus and Cook returning, not sure McIntosh, Milton and Edwards will want to share time with them instead of transferring to a program with a less crowded RB room.

2 years ago we lost all our wide receivers and brought back most everybody else. Everybody thought the offense would be fine but it wasn’t. This year we lose all the DB’s but bring back most everybody else and everybody says it’s going to be okay. I’m not so sure. The dawgs always have an Achilles heel.
