One day after meeting with compliance and the outside counsel about the internal investigation, Tennessee head coach Jeremy Pruitt is on his way to California to meet with standout linebacker Henry To’oto’o and his family.
Pruitt is joined on the trip west by defensive coordinator Derrick Ansley, Tennessee Player Development Assistant Kevin Simon and sources say they are picking up new defensive assistant Kevin Steele on the way to the west coach. Simon is a De La Salle alum which is where To’oto’o played and Simon was a key factor in To’oto’o selecting the Vols.
The soon to be Junior linebacker has loved his time at Tennessee. However, sources tell Volquest that the current unknown from the internal investigation which has led questions surrounding Pruitt’s job security have given Henry and his family pause. In an effort to settle the To’oto’o families concerns, Pruitt and members of his staff are on their way to the west coast.
Oh, to be a fly on the wall for that get together. What sort of advice would you offer Pruitt for when he meets with the family? Besides “wear your mask correctly”, that is.
Isn’t that too many people inside the house out there?

My advice would be to let your coaches do the talking, as every time that dumb Bammer redneck opens his mouth he finds a new way to mangle the English language and sound even dumber than he looks.
Also, if they serve some completely normal item of food that your idiot upbringing never exposed you to, like maybe asparagus, don’t admit to the family that you don’t know what it is.

You misspelled dumb Bammer redneck. Correctly it is spelled, Dickhead – especially when wearing a mask

Just imagining the scene when they serve some California-type salad with, say, arugula, & Jermy says he never knew oak leaves was so durn tasty.

He’s a rising junior and probably an early entry.
This has to be more than wondering about something the NCAA might do a year down the road.

It hurts my brain to think of all the “situations” we are about to see in college football over the next few years.

In totally unrelated topic, don’t know how he received this honor inside of a trash can with a seegar lighting, five star heart…National Booch Day….

Is there set dates for free agency now in NCAA? Next thing to work out is trade deadlines between teams and define “tampering rules”. We almost there people.

Anyone have connections at Homeland Security? Can we put Pruitt on the no-fly list for the return flight? Just a prank, of course😉

Should have put him on the no fly list so he couldn’t leave Tenn.

All the Vol coaches should be wearing knee pads because there is going to be a lot of begging going on.

Living in a LA, I am totally used to there being two sets of rules for folks out here – one for the elites and the rest of us. The rest of us are asked to stay at home and forbidden to have gatherings at our homes – whether indoors or outdoors. We’re expected to wear masks while running down the street for exercise and our grocery stores operate at 35% capacity meaning we have to wait in lines just to go in the store. But that’s not the point of Senator’s post, so I’m just complaining to complain because none of y’all have to deal with this.
I would love to hear Pruitt say “I ain’t going no place and for evidence, here’s Kevin Steele who just took a pay cut to be your coach. He’s so committed he’s working for less money.” Henry’s dad will reply – ‘I’d rather my son be a school where the special teams coordinator earns nearly twice that of the D Coordinator.’

I was gonna say, I guess they get to circumvent our “entering the state requires a 10 day quarantine before you can leave again” edict by some sort of “essential business guise” — but frankly I hope they turn around and head back out ASAP.

No doubt…..there is a high chance he returns to UT. Otherwise Pruitt would not even address his flirting with the portal. Pruitt needs a win like a monkey needs a tree and he knows a headline with”star LB returns to Knoxville “ will favor his reimagining attempt.
Pruitt, however, appears dumber than he even sounds. But the Fulmer-Pruitt partnership benefits UGA so I hope that Abbot and Costello team stays together.
It wouldn’t surprise me if Pruitt has a listening device in one ear and a hidden microphone. A parked bread truck with sophisticated electronics located outside the player’s house and filled with fully prepped support Staff from UT feeding him answers.

When To’o To’o meets Jeremy and Kevin he should quote Bill Withers and ask Jeremy “ Who is he and what is he to you?”
