Todd Monken, sneaky devil?

Wait a minute…

I thought Georgia was prohibited from using its tight ends like that.

This is the part of the offense that, in my opinion will just kill teams next year. Even if you have the talent to man up against Georgia’s running attack and can play man against the receivers, it means that your line backs are really-really stretched. Georgia is much deeper at this position than people realize, including an absolute stud that came out of California this year. (By the way, nobody – the closest defense to match up with Georgia is Clemson’s, who at times, were absolutely gouged by in their secondary last year.

Tight ends should be in for a big year. If these numbers are not quite we would like, it’s because there is only one ball with so-so many options.

I’m guessing the numbers are even more impressive over the last 4 games with JT at the helm…

Gotta love a 6’8” power runner.

And these stats include a terrible and costly drop by a wide open Fitzpatrick against UF.
