Let’s check in and see how the post-Trask era is unfolding.
While I’m not ready to take a victory lap just yet, I’m not gonna say I don’t find the situation amusing.
Let’s check in and see how the post-Trask era is unfolding.
I was told on this app that I should never worry about a Dan Mullen coached QB and it’s a given that the Gators would be in the top 25% of SEC offenses. Long time between now and September, but we heard better reviews of D’Wan Mathis in practices than the info on Emory right now pic.twitter.com/1aJuVhcBPq

Give him time…getting the spiral down throwing a shoe takes some adjustments to your arm motion.

He replies to the tweet that he doesn’t think Richardson is any better, but he is. We saw it. Richardson can throw the ball with accuracy and he can run it like Tebow or sCam.
It’s Richardson we’re likely to see in the Cocktail Party, and it’ll be more difficult to win the game because of it.

You’re reading an awful lot into a game when UF was down by six touchdowns and facing Oklahoma’s third-string defense. Might want to hold off on the “woe is UGA” for a little while, at least.
For one thing, every day that Jones is getting first team reps is a day that Richardson isn’t.

Oh, I’m not “woe is is,” I’m on record any and everywhere that we’re beating the ‘turds and their clown show coach like rented mules in Jax this year.
It just won’t be as easy as I once thought if Richardson is the likely starter.

I should hope we all know better than to take Jacksonville, under any coach, as a given. Especially under Mullen, if we don’t come to play, it’ll be a tough out. He isn’t Spurrier, but he’s cut from the same cloth as him and Petrino as far as being an excellent play caller who takes full advantage of whatever talent he has on offense.
But yeah… like many games we’ve lost over the last 20 years, we have absolutely no business losing to them this year no matter who’s taking snaps.

RICHARDSON COMPLETED 100% OF HIS PASSES AGAINST OU. SHOW ME ANOTHER HEISMAN CANDIDATE WHO CAN SAY THAT.

Richardson has a 228.4 rating. We’re doomed.

When you put it like that… 😉

I agree Richardson looks to be the superior passer, but he only threw two times in 2020.

See…i’ve said it all along, the FU hc is closing the gap, i knew it was gonna happen, we are doomed DAWG NATION, doomed i tell, it’s only spring time and the “main source” for FU nuggets is down, unplugged…this is not good for UGA football…

If we can’t win a National Championship next, Lord please give me a Gator meltdown instead.
It’s all there for an epic meltdown. Grantham coming back, WRs gone to the NFL, a jackass for a coach, and the fanbase bought in so hard after the WLOCP.

While all that schadenfreude does sound great, you should know that the FU ‘turd fanbase actually isn’t all that bought in on Sideshow Dan the Clown right now, even with beating us in Jax.
Not after embarrassing their school no less than three times on a national level. Not after sitting Pitts like an arrogant ass and losing to LSshoe. Not after getting curb-stomped by Boomer Sooner. Not after trying to gin-up NFL interest to try to force Floriduh to give him an extension. Not after keeping Grantham. And not after yet another lack-luster recruiting year,
Nope. The ‘turds are not bought-in on Cousin Eddie at all. That’s just a little wishful thinking on your part, maybe, but reality is, they’re embarrassed and pissed-off.

You don’t think the Gator Nation was in love with Mullen after the WLOCP? Sure they got buyers remorse after the OU game, but those morons were fully into Mullen.

Yeah, that’s not really what I’m saying. It wasn’t just that one thing, but a culmination of ALL those things that has them not be “all-in” on Sideshow Dan right now the way you inferred.
Now, if we’re talking immediately after the Cocktail Party, sure. But that isn’t how they feel today.

Corch is right. Cousin Eddie’s clumsy attempt to court the NFL not to mention the 3straight losses has many Turds ill at ease with him.

“Mr. Checkdown”.
We won’t see Jones in the Cocktail Party as a starter. He will come in for those occasionally Wild Cat plays but UF will have another starter by then. Book it.

Obviously, Grantham saved his best defensive coaching for the spring.🖖👌✊🙏

Fits with what I was saying earlier. If EJ has no legit downfield threat for defenses to respect, I don’t see how he plays well enough on his feet and the short passing game for 4 quarters to beat better teams.

The LSU game made life easier for us Dawgs in Florida for sure. They were ready to burn the place down. Then the Alabama Game gave them hope, only to have it totally destroyed by OU. Cousin Eddie doing his “our season ended” in Atlanta statement just pissed them off more.

The LSU game was absolutely a pivotal moment in Mullen’s career. It has permanently sucked the life out of any kind of “Kirby can’t coach or win the big game argument” too. There is just no way to spin that LSU loss, which is now a massive permanent black mark on Mullen’s record. I’m not sure he has time to rebuild to a Trask-like QB again either.
EJ is basically wildcat RB with an above-average arm (for a RB).
