Wanna watch G-Day?

Internet only, baby.

One game is different from the rest.  Quelle surprise.

There will be re-runs, though.

  1. If we were on ESPN, the talking heads would spend the entire game talking about Alabama, Clemson and Ohio State and their playoff possibilities.

Why wouldn’t we be at least on the regular SEC Network?

Do they really need to rerun another insipid episode of Two Woke Rednecks, I mean, Marty and McGee?

  3. So I cant even go to a bar and grill to watch, sweet. Our AD should be jumping on this also.

FYI… You’ll still be able to watch on your TV through the ESPN app from your SmartTV or Xbox or PSwhatever or Roku or Firestick or you get the idea. SECN+ games are always available through the app.

I have youtube tv. Does the “+” indicate an additional subscription is required?

    • You have to log in to ESPN on your PC or device. Or app. Its just not a channel.

I haven’t looked into it yet, but I would think that the “+” means we would need to subscribe to espn+? I’ll be waiting for the replays and of course all the takes here.

Pretty sure you can authorize ESPN through your TV provider (Dish, YouTubeTV, Comcast, etc.) and watch on the ESPN app. In other words, if ESPN is part of your TV subscription, you can watch at no additional cost.

The + does not mean it is part of ESPN+. It just means it can only be accessed online rather than a cable channel. As long as you have a TV subscription that includes the SEC Network, you should be able to access the game.

yes, I have YouTube TV as well but I pay $5/mo for “+” on top. It’s served over a separate ESPN app.

I usually do it through the app on my phone and cast it to my TV.

My X1 Xfinity box dials’em all in. Lots of College Baseball available there too.

I’ve gotten into Georgia baseball the last few years because I can see almost all the games via my Roku TV (and my in-laws cable login)

I say it all the time, college baseball and college lacrosse are the two most underrated games today. The College World Series might just be the single best postseason event.

Hope it’s on the radio where GA sports fans now have to go for Braves baseball too thanks to the Sinclair debacle with streaming services

  9. Does anyone else follow the All Things Alabama(SEC) Twitter? ESPN/SECN reminds me of that.

Just when I think Alabama can’t possibly be any more dominant, they prove me wrong. Just when I think the networks and social media can’t do more to remind me of this, they prove me wrong. Ugh

What can the sec network possibly be broadcasting that justifies putting their premium product in the backseat? I suppose advertisers quit caring about eyeballs on TVs too.

Well, there’s Paul Penishead’s Dumb Bammers for Four Hours, played live and then rerun 2 times a day. There’s Two Woke Rednecks telling us all how terrible we all are, especially NASCAR fans. There’s Dari Nowkah Talks SEC Sports (pretty much the only decent show on the network). And there’s reruns of SEC Stories, but it’s never the Herschel Walker episode, it’s only the Steve Spurrier or George Rogers episodes.

The Herschel episode is painful to watch. Hard to believe anyone, especially Herschel, would fall for that witch doctor, scam artist’s diagnosis. A search for that guy is disturbing.

Look at it this way: bamafan is too stupid to figure out how to record a game or use the internet.

Is YouTube TV still the best alternative to cable?

At least auGA rates right up there with all the other SEC teams except Bama. Recruiting advantage Saban, nothing like a network to favor the Lion King
