When people say the SEC is the most competitive conference in college football, I’m not sure this is quite what they have in mind.

    This is funny because it illustrates perfectly exactly where Tennessee’s place in the modern CFB pantheon happens to be, and just how much the 90’s are over for those ugly urnge wearing idiot hillbillies.

    Vandy has anchored down the basement of the SEC for a long time.

    Looks like they have weighed anchor and it’s full steam to anchor down on top of the UT program. Just when UT fans think it can’t get worse it gets and I’ll borrow a UT friends word it gets worser and worser.

      It depends on the results of the NCAA investigation. If the NCAA drops a bomb on the Vowels, I would put my bet on Fech. If not, the Hillbillies would get my vote.

      GT. UT is in the middle of a meltdown that could cause the program to sink all the way to the bottom of CFB. If you look back at won-loss records from a century ago, Duke was a national power. Now look at them and what they have been for more than 50 years. UT is headed where Duke is and has been. The last division title UT won was in 2007, the last SEC title won was in 1998. I haven’t looked it up but I think UT has only won more than 7 games in a season 3 or 4 times in the last 15 years. If Vandy is the SEC’s version of Wake, UT is the SEC’s version of Duke—without the academics.

      Tech. Easy. Recruiting better than with fishfry so they are bound to continue to improve to a certain level. What that level is, I think ain’t that high. But UT will take a miracle with this new guy. He might do well, but it will be a miracle.

    It hasn’t been that long ago that UGA and auburn were tied for all-time wins with only a few points separating them.
    Now the Dawgs own their sorry ass by six games with a bullet and those trashy bastards haven’t scored more than a single TD in this state in a decade.
    Yeah, I know most of y’all are aware of those stats. It just bears repeating.

    I’m greatly enjoying the off-season of so many of our rivals. 🍿

    When Kirby brings home his first Natty I expect this to become the norm. I may be alone with this however if Saban admitted who he fears most to end his rein as King of CFB. I believe he thinks it’s Kirby.

    IMO Kirby is driven to prove to his ex boss he can beat him and take his place. I’m very appreciative of the fact we have a driven Georgia man who
    wont rest till he brings home NC’s. I’ll go further and say Kirby wants to leave as the greatest coach in the history of HIS school. I’m not stupid enough to say it will happen. I will say it won’t be due to lack of effort on Kirby Smart’s part. As they say in south Ga. he ain’t scared of hard work.

    Nor do I say Kirby is perfect he’s made plenty of mistakes. I do think he’s a man that Is unfraid to look into the mirror and own everyone of them. Willing to work tirelessly to achieve his personal goals. All he needs now is the seemingly Georgia curse of bad calls and key injuries at the worst possible time to stop. If so some of that reserve fund can be used to expand the BM trophy case into a Kirby Smart era trophy room.
