TFW your broadcast partner just isn’t that into you

Nebraska probably wouldn’t mind if Fox put the game on at eight in the morning.  What a sad commentary on what was once one of college football’s can’t miss rivalries.

As far as Nebraska is concerned, they sure don’t make’em like they used to…

Didn’t nebraska almost cancel this game?

I guess that means the booth accomodations for the Fox TV crew won’t exactly be all that welcoming. I’d probably avoid eating the food as well. Heck, they’ll probably force the Fox TV and satellite trucks to park in a seedy warehouse district in OKC.

I’d say the Nebraska brand is a wee bit stale right now.

Yep, they’re definitely in the rear view as far as being a powerhouse. And they’ll never get it back because of where they are geographically. They’ve joined Princeton, Yale, Army, and the University of Chicago as once mighty programs that time left behind.

Well Fox scheduled the Huskers-Illini game at 1pm so there is that!! Go illini!!!(It was supposed to be played in Ireland.)

  7. I bet the Georgia-Oklahoma game in Norman won’t be at 11 a.m. central time. This whole thing speaks to how far the Big Red have fallen.

They stopped playing, Nebraska got shitty…both teams are at fault.

What happened to that rivalry was a loss to the sport as a whole.

Roy Kramer had the good sense to preserve cross division rivalry games like Georgia/Florida and Alabama/Tennessee, which allowed the conference to expand and split into divisions with as little loss of tradition as possible. It amazes me that conferences like the Big12 didn’t do the same.

Yeah, well, the SEC is going to follow up on that in ’26. There’s no way we keep Auburn on the schedule every year when the current scheduling plan goes away. They’ve already jacked around with it enough to show how little regard they have for it.

Oh no. Not good. The Tech game is going to the Cartoon Network.

I hate what has happened to these rivalries. And Nebraska should be ashamed of how they’re approaching this. Scott Frost should personally be ashamed of how Nebraska is responding to this game.

It doesn’t help that Oklahoma has been a dud in the playoffs, either.
