A 10.10 translates into no CB can cover Smith at 50+ yards on a go route without interference or holding. The refs might see it, might not……

If only he could cover 50 yards in about 3 seconds…..but we still have hope, right??

OL doesn’t have to block for 3 seconds, the ball takes a few seconds to travel 50 yards.

Nope your right about the OL, nor can the DB cover forever. It is just that the QB has 3 seconds to get rid of the ball.
That is the rule, or what is taught…..always has been, probably always will be.

It means the CB has to give him a BIG cushion at the snap. UGA needs to hit him on a post early in the season and scare the shit out every DB we face. That will open up the shorter stuff.
