TFW autonomy isn’t all it’s cracked up to be

Larry Scott’s final legacy:  being legitimately shit-talked by a mid-major conference.

They support it for monetary purposes only. Enjoy getting your ass kicked 56-3 every year IN THE PLAYOFFS.

I’d almost forgotten that we had Sir Larry to kick around until the end of the month. I liked it better when we thought he’d already been replaced.

  5. Can you blame the Sun Belt, though? There’s a pretty decent chance that last year’s Coastal Carolina squad would’ve embarrassed Washington, Oregon, or USC.

I’m going to miss Larry. I’m sure his successor will still do dumb stuff, but he’ll be smart enough to not do so publicly.

So, now Larry gets to go be an idiot with a private beach somewhere. All for the difficult task of running a prime athletic conference during the Golden Age of College Sports into the ground.

I’m not sure people appreciate how hard that was to do.

PAC-12 winner will be the first team to get smoked by a Sunbelt 12 seed in the first round.
