I’m beginning to think I need to start a Your Daily Tiger feature.

Yeah, I know that unlike Florida, Clemson has a national relevancy of late, but still, dumb is dumb.  And this is a classic by those standards.

Yes, he’s using the 2013 game and Todd Grantham’s defense to make a point about this year’s game.  And there’s more where that came from in the message board thread.  That’s some incredible insight there; I may have to rethink my entire take on Georgia’s opener now.

I am starting to think we are gonna whip their ass. They have no idea of the amount of pent up frustration we carry.

For me was the UGA fan who showed the Chubb clip on the pin and pull sweep… and there was a lot of back and forth and then the guy said, oh, my bad, you meant this video — with Gurley running the same play. (or maybe it was Gurley then Chubb) hahahahaha

I definitely see some similarities in how our front 7 will handle Clemson’s OL this year.

I’m all for the spread offense but there is something about a toss sweep when the defense doesn’t want to tackle that makes me smile.

      • A fullback coming after a defensive back who is just gassed is beautiful to watch.

The toss sweep when being dealt to someone like TG3, Nick Chubb or Sony Michel for me is the most classic Georgia running play ever.

Thanks for the 2014 game nightlight clip ee excellent work!

Boss Andrews impressed me on the Chubb shoeless TD run. Getting downfield to block long after the play should’ve been over. Andrews is a prime example of the how shortsighted or just plain clueless are the folks grading lineman for awards or the draft. His value was evident if they were paying attention. The Boss was only Second Team All-SEC and went undrafted, yet started as a rookie and been the Pat’s center in two Super Bowl wins.

As an old O lineman I loved watching Boss play. One of my all time favorite Dawgs. Proud of what he has done at New England.

The Boss is a great example of a guy that very quietly does his job so darn well nobody seems to notice cause his spot is never the problem for your team. Those two guys Andrews and Chubb, great talent and the type of championship character every team needs. To think the Boss is another in a long line of Georgia players the Falcons didn’t think they needed. Dumbasses

I’ll say it, Gurley is the 2nd best RB UGA has ever had..MIST

      • No doubt. I love Chubb, but TG3II was one of the top 5 players regardless of position to come to UGA since Herschel.

Nope, Chubb never got in trouble. Gurley did, even if he shouldn’t have. I’ll take Chubb any day. He also came back.

          • Gurley could have decided to tell Greg McGarity to stick it and opt out after being suspended for a 1/3 of a season for a lot less than others did. He came back and absolutely destroyed Auburn and tore an ACL as a result.

Chubb is absolutely a DGD for the things he did on and off the field, but pound for pound, Todd Gurley is the best TB since Herschel and is one of the 5 best players regardless of position to play at Georgia since 34 (by the way, Nick is one of those, too).

This is the most elementary-level thinking I’ve ever seen written on this blog, and that is saying a lot.

Much of the boisterousness of Clemson fans has to be attributed to their recent success. But, I believe the rest of the ignorance re the UGA-Clemson series has to be the result of “new” Clemson fans. Likely made up by and large from either a) Atlantans who went there or b) other “Yankee” and “Yankee” adjacent types who think that Georgia sucks because we don’t beat Bama while Clemson is better because they are 2-2 vs Bama The more knowledgeable long term fans are as nervous about this game as we are.

We will win this game because we have what Clemson had when they smacked Bama in that NC game…a deep, strong, experienced, industrial strength DLine.
Their front seven will be good, ours will be better. That’ll be the difference.

lol Actually, they’ll have six field goals going into the 4th quarter, and it will be 35 to 18. Then they’ll score a late TD on a blown coverage by our second string secondary….35 to 24. lol

My biggest concern with Clemson this time is how epic their last game performance was against tOSU. I’m sure the right reverend Dabo has drummed that ass wuppin into their heads at every chance. They will want to wash that stink off.
I think Ranger’s analysis is correct Clemson sucks.

I think one of the things Kirby learned from Saban is opening a season with a quality opponent can get the team focused and motivated during the off season. Clemson on the other hand usually starts the season with a cup cake then faces a decent team for game 2. I think that says something about the coaching staff there.
I think UGA wins that game by 2 or 3 TDs.
