Well, shit. This ain’t good.
Just a reminder that age affects everyone. Well, except Keef, obviously.
Here’s a little Charlie for today.

Now I’m in my car
I got the radio on
I’m yellin’ at the kids in the back seat
‘Cause they’re bangin’ like Charlie Watts….

Get better soon…I remember the Steel Wheels tour in 89 at legion field…everyone went apeshit as Start Me Up started…one of my favorite concerts ever…to this day all my playlists begin with Start Me Up

I saw that tour also at Clemson. I was thinking then that the Stones were a bunch of old fuckers. Now I see the irony of that. It’s been longer (32 years) since than they had been a group then (27 years). I consider simply staying alive 60 years as an accomplishment and these fellas have been rockn and putting up with each other almost that long. I reckon that’s a testament to clean living, exercise and a healthy paycheck as incentive.
I hope Charlie gets better soon. He and the Stones are an inspiration to me.
I remember the first time I heard Monkey Man on that old radio listening to a Cleveland Station. It was eerie to my 9 year old ears. Still a favorite tune.
We’re dating ourselves, FD.

I know what you mean about old fuckers (then)…I’m not sure if these boys bathe in the fountain of youth or if Keith is just the devil himself and needs band mates, but they keep going and going…Watts is like 80…da fuq? I guess I should have had what those dudes were having…keep rolling on
You have to marvel at their longevity

Was just listening to Sgt Pepper. Ringo is fresh off tour now, practiced, rested and a youthful 81. The Stones could do a helluva lot worse.
