Big Ten blogger discovers water is wet.

Someone is a wee bit miffed with Greg Sankey.

SUBTWEET OF THE YEAR. I did not know this because I do not generally keep track of cursed dates, but it turns out that yesterday was the anniversary of the Big Ten’s decision to cancel the fall athletic season.

And SEC commissioner Greg Sankey celebrated by subtweeting the hell out of Kevin Warren.

Dude, he’s a conference commissioner.  Asshole comes with the territory.

Also, it doesn’t change the fact that Warren didn’t exactly cover himself in glory with his decision making skills.

  1. To me you lose the moral high ground when you idolize Corch and his wife beating assistant…but in this case, it appears that history proved Sankey to be right…let us not forget that the Big10 almost had their own civil war with schools threatening lawsuits and to just play regardless of what the conference ordained. The Big10 had to scramble to save face and to keep their member schools in place.

    So, Delaney wasn’t an asshole?

Sounds to me like Mr Big10 Blogger knows things are changing and the Big10 doesn’t have a leader.

This time last year, there was talk about 2020 being a throwaway season for us and college football writ large. Was it? Does ‘20 carry the same stature as all other seasons? OSU playing in the CFP with that schedule and number of games shouldn’t wake a local writer to pronounce another conference’s decisions as questionable. That OSU got in the CFP is evidence to me that generally, ‘20 was indeed a throwaway season.
