Stupid is as stupid does.

This is what you call a sucker bet.

Honestly, I’d love to know what goes into the thought process that leads to a “yeah, think I’ll lay almost a quarter of a million dollars on a Tennessee football team to do something right”.

He’d have gotten more enjoyment, and less stress, from simply lighting a suitcase of cash on fire and making smores. Excellent cash management, Jethro!

Almost as dumb as betting on a Tennessee to complete a deep ball.

I caught the 2nd quarter and bits and pieces of the 2nd half. They have a long long way to go.

    • I listened to the end of the 1st half and a small bit of the 3rd quarter. If the Urnge were only up on BGSU 14-6 at halftime, it’s going to be a long year in east Tennessee … not that there’s anything wrong with that.

But they scored more points than they did in a single game last year. Yeah, it was Bowling Green but they’re not cup cake material. Their QB has a good arm and has a propensity to run…which the Dawgs can overcome…but I think Heupel with his hurry up offense can make some games closer this year. I’m not worried, just saying they’re not the Pruitt VOLS.

I watched the Minnesota game against aOSU. Gave them a good game but the B10 refs were horrendous. I’m still pissed at that targeting non-call that left the receiver concussed at the end of the game. Textbook targeting where the defender launched the crown of his helmet into the head/neck area of a defenseless player. Not only did they completely miss the targeting (even after review) but they took the ball away from Minnesota. The fix is in across CFB. Conferences will protect their money teams.

  15. The film Fargo never tell us exactly why Jerry Lundegaard was in so much money trouble, but, based on all we learn about the character, I imagine it was moves like this…. although, in his case, I’m assuming hockey instead of football.
