    Oy – I don’t think anyone would of thought Jackson was this far away. Hope these guys heal up and are ready for the Auburn, UK, Florida stretch of the schedule.

    Blaylock is ahead of K. Jackson? Not sure how to take that – Jackson was well enough to field punts but not play WR, so you’d have to think he’s sorta close to getting back in the mix at WR. If Blaylock is ahead of him, that’s encouraging. Hopefully they’re both back by the end of this month.

    I think we are going to see a reversion to manball for a while. Even when the receives come back, it’s going to take time to integrate them back into the offense.

    I still think we’re going to be fine scoring points by Halloween, but it’s going to be ugly until we get there.

    This is a good thing. JT benefited from not being thrown into the fray in desperation too early last season. I even believe that Dom could be ahead of Kearis as a WR in spite of the Kearis playing. The only thing he did was catch punts, mostly fair catches, and he wore a knee brace. Even when he decided to run he went mainly straight ahead. In other words, not asking the knee to do too much.

    All coaches are cagey about what they tell the media, and some of that is to protect their players. The one thing that we know about Kirby is that he knows his players. I have no factual basis for questioning his decision.
