Your (non-Dawg) Game Day post

Today’s slate of games:

That is a rather full day.

Oregon-Ohio State is probably the game with the biggest early stakes, but I’ll be hoping for amusing outcomes in the Tennessee and Georgia Tech meetings.  Texas-Arkansas might be fun.  And we might find out a little something about Kentucky and Mizzou.

What’s of interest to you?

Pittsburgh is not an automatic out. Just ask Vince Dooley. Tidbit: Tony Dorsett’s first and last games in a Pittsburgh uniform were against Georgia.

My daddy was a big Razorback fan. He was from Arkansas. He hated Texas from their rivalry days. I will be watching and rooting on his hogs. He liked Pittman and was hopeful Arkansas was on the right track.

¡El Assico! – Top 10 Edition should be a real treat. I have Iowa winning, but I’ll be rooting for the Cyclones.

I’m a huge Pitt fan today. FYI, we are only around 12 behind UT for all-time program wins, so UT losses these days are always important. Of course, UT is trying to prop up their wins via an embarrassing yearly OOC slate, but nonetheless we should catch them within the next few years.

Also a huge Ark fan today and keep an eye on the TAMU-Colorado game…might get interesting. Finally, UW at Michigan should have been a nice matchup, but UW’s inexplicable loss to Montana put a wet blanket on that. The fact that the line opened at UM -1 was a real head scratcher.

I see the Nerds got that coveted ESPN 3 slot. (Balley Sports if you really care)

Demetris Robertson just caught a receiving TD—for Auburn. And half Georgia’s receiving corps is injured.

Pulling for the Owls against the Nerds. But I admit I have to smile when a triple option offense gives up a Defensive touchdown. My hate of Fishfry’s unstoppable offense comes out.

If you can get your lover to look at you as lovingly as the referees look at Ohio St. you’ve got a keeper. Oregon has been F’d several times by the refs so far.

Georgia winning and tech losing. That pretty much sums it up.

Man, there have been some awful-looking flop jobs on both sides in the UT/Pitt game.

We will beat Tennessee like people used to beat their children.

Oregon eating clock and they’re gonna score. Looks like an OSU might be in trouble.
