SEC speed, baby

The best thing about that play is that I bet that quarterback has never run faster in his life.

If the Falcons were smart, they’d do everything they could to draft Jordan Davis.

Of course, we know they Falcons aren’t smart, as evidenced by the two chances they had to take Ojulari in the second round and took a safety with a third round grade instead.

He’s got an easy 150 pounds on him and 6 inch taller. Seriously, I would hav trotted over to my sidelines and looked that the coach “I’m out”…

  5. Upon interviewing the UAB QB later, it was revealed that he thought number 99 had a rocket shoved up his ass

If he would have hit him solid with that club I think UAB would’ve needed another QB.

That play was confirmation that the defense was not going to go through the motions against UAB.

Damn announcers didn’t even mention it either. They were too busy stroking each other.

That clip is going to make him a lot of money come draft day. Some physics student needs to calculate what the impact of a man that big moving that fast would be. If he had hit him high the kid would have entered another zip code.

  10. Young Mr. Davis has made himself some money these first 2 weeks of the season. He plugs the middle in the run, pushes the interior of the pocket, and doesn’t appear to take plays off. Those attributes put together aren’t a dime a dozen.

And all the announcers could talk about was not this.

They were talking about themselves. Where they were on 9/11. Should have been done on pregame, but wait, ESPN screwed up pregame. I don’t care where they were on 9/11. Tell me about the game, and JD’s run!!

When I saw that unfold live, from the stands, I chuckled when I remembered JTD’s quote about his first practice in Athens, seeing 99 across the line from him, and wondering if he (JTD) was really meant to play this game.
