Respect the troll

Gotta give the man credit for extending his anti-SEC shtick to a team that’s not even in the SEC yet.  So there is such a thing as preemptive trolling.

Now do FSU-Jacksonville State, Danny.

    He is a miserable person. He sounds nice and innocent on the radio but his true feelings show on Twitter. He harbors so much hate for the SEC it must be hard for him to sleep at night.

    The first two weeks of CFB have shown how bad his ACC really is. While the SEC continues excluding Vandy to get stronger top to bottom.

    Danny boy is in for a long miserable season. Not on Twitter or I would regularly ask him the Senator’s excellent question about explaining FSU and JAX St or why the ACC sucks.

    It isn’t that they lost to Arkansas. It was the fact that they were pretty much run out of the stadium. It wasn’t a squeak by on a lucky play upset. As several pundits I’ve listened to over the last weeks have so eloquently put it “they lined up across from the Longhorns and just punched them in the mouth”. On top of that, TEXAS WAS BACK!!!! AGAIN!!…until they weren’t

        I said this before last weekend, but the opening weekend’s best ACC moments were either a Virginia Tech win over a UNC top 10 team (that clearly didn’t belong in the top 10 if you watched the game) OR an FSU loss to top 10 Notre Dame. Not a real strong start for the ACC.

    Hopefully someone has replied with this to Danny on Twitter:

    Going back the past 5 years, Arkansas is 7-35 in the SEC. So his “4-5 Big 12 teams” comment is pretty laughable, given that Arkansas in recent years has been one of the worst SEC teams.

    The last time anyone beat Texas by 19 points? Go all the way back to 11/25/2016 when TCU beat them by 22. Since then, Texas’ 2 biggest losses were by 14 and 17. So, no Danny, this isn’t something that ANYONE has been doing to Texas in recent years.

    Mullen’s good record against FU’s “traditional rivals” (Georgia, Tennessee and FSU) can be explained by one thing: the decline of Tennessee and FSU, which are both horrible (is that two things?). FU’s one win in the Mullen era against Georgia can also be explained by one thing: Bennett’s injury from a Florida cheap shot on his throwing shoulder—if Bennett doesn’t get hurt Georgia wins that game. So, how great does Mullen look now if you understand the above? Pretty mediocre if you ask me.

    The teams that have beaten Texas haven’t typically been coming off of a decade of being a bottom feeder in their conference like Arkansas has, but you do you, Danny.

    He will remain salty as long as the Top 2 teams in America are from the SEC which should continue for at least another week.

    We should pummel USC and if UF were to beat Bama – I could see them springboarding into the Top 2.
