Life after losing

Say what you will about Boom, his former guys clearly like him.  And vice versa.

That exchange with Josh Vann is classic:  “They finally give me the ball!”

If Iran gave me $18 million I’d smile and hug the ayatollahs.

When does Cochran return, so Boom can resume being staff-assistant-without-portfolio?

Can somebody tell me in plain talk what Boom’s actual job is?

Is Scott Cochran in witness protection or something?

That was actually nice to see. Highlights a little of the personal relationships the coaches have with these kids.

  5. This is really, really awesome to see. These guys are human. Boom asking the guy “How’s your mama?” is just so cool.

Boom is living proof of the Peter Principle. An excellent assistant coach who was promoted multiple times until he got into a position he couldn’t handle—Head Coach. He’s proven it twice now. I would be fine with Boom on the UGA staff permanently, even as DC if Lanning left. But Boom needs to never be a HC again. Not cut out for it.

A good measure of a person is how others feel about you after your gone. Clearly Boom left his players feeling he was a good man and they were happy to see him again.

Life is more important than football thanks for sharing this this feel good clip.
It’s getting harder not to like Agent Muschamp every day he’s back home.

Love that Will still has these connections. Great for him and them. That Vann quote is hilarious, after Will asks him why he started playing like that after he got fired.

I’m fine with keeping Muschamp around in his current role, because I’d bet the house we’re going to lose Lanning very soon. Muschamp is a very good defensive coordinator.

As I’ve said multiple times, Muschamp has always been a dawg deep down.
