Sometimes you blow the Admiral and sometimes the Admiral blows you.

You guys know I’m a sucker for gallows humor and this certainly qualifies as a masterpiece of that genre:

Well played, anonymous, long suffering Vandy fan.

  1. It sounded like they pumped in crowd noise when Candy did something right. They should be embarrassed. You rarely use the word mercy in a game that ends 62-0, but Kirby really did show them mercy after the 1st quarter.

Because we could only bring 70 players, Kirby couldn’t send in the walkons or many of the players who are planning to redshirt.

I was sitting near that guy. He was drunk as fuck and was being a dick the entire game. Let’s not glorify his douchery.

Similar to the Auburn players who were strutting around like they won the MNC after the refs bailed them out of a loss to GSU. Even Auburn people were saying they couldn’t believe the refs didn’t reverse the completion call on Auburn’s last gasp drive. The game announcers fairly gasped at the replay call, as did everyone in my house watching the game.

Of the dozens of Vandy fans who showed up Saturday, one was bound to be a fan of gallows humor. When I got to my seat, I thought maybe I had misunderstood the kickoff time. I thought 2019 was a takeover, but at least SOME Vandy fans came. I guess they all abandoned ship this year.
