No hard feelings

This is what I posted about after the game the other day.  Pretty damned cool.

Love to hear what he told Kirby. I think I’ve got an idea.

He seems Mark Richt level decent, and he’s got his team/career on the right track. Glad to see it.

(Yeah they got killed by Georgia but that’s just not even a relevant comparison at this point.)

Would love to see them get back on track and kick some ass the rest of the season. Can’t see them beating Bama but if they play with composure they can win the rest of them. 10-2 and Pittman is COY.

Still a DGD even if he is head Hog now.

I can’t think of another assistant who left that was as beloved by the fan base as the Pitt Boss (excluding Erk Russell of course-but when you were a legend, that goes without saying)

Every person should hope they live a life that has that sort of impact. Like everyone else, I’ll always root for Sam Pittman.

Class act for sure. Arkansas is lucky to have him.

It will be great to see us burn down Auburn this Saturday, let the barners try to re-group, then watch Pittman’s Pigs burn them down again. Such a fun season.

I have a feeling my Tiger cousins are going to take a lot of shit from the Arky side of the family this year…

    I love this.

I would never hate a Georgia win, but I hated that the butt-whuppin’ we put on the Hogs came at Coach Pittman’s expense.

This is the ONE TIME y’all will hear me praise Kirby for running clock on a game ever, because y’all, it could’ve been worse. The pass game was there if we wanted it (or really, if Bennett could find the open WR or TE, which he missed a few times for what would’ve been a big play).

The warm and fuzzies that many of the older Dawgs here and everywhere feel about Erk I know many of us feel about Coach Pittman. He wasn’t here nearly as long as Erk was, but his impact was just as big. When we win a National Title, if it’s in the next couple of years, if even one of his recruits is still on the roster, Kirby should send him a ring.

  12. I watch Kirby pressers for Dawg info.
I watch Saban pressers to laugh.
I watch Pittman pressers to feel good about the world.

Having sat behind our bench at a pretty good number of road games the past few years, he was always the one the offense rallied around when they were on the sidelines. While the OC may have been up in the booth observing, developing strategy, etc., Pittman was the one “on the ground” who was really making it happen – communicating it to the players, getting them to buy in, etc. It’s really easy to see how he has changed the culture there real fast….

I was sitting in the midst of a herd of hog fans Saturday. Great folks. I thanked them all for loaning us Coach Pittman for a few years.

Speaking of no hard feelings. D’wan Mathis had a good weekend. Mathis threw for 322 yards and three touchdowns while completing 71 percent of his passes, and also rushed for 53 yards on only four carries. Nice to see him finally start to put it together.

  17. Love this for two reasons. First, seeing the respect between the two coaches is a good thing these days. Shows both UGA and ARK have good ones at the helm. Secondly, though, it’s great to see our players show such respect to Coach Pittman. Saturday was an exhibition of character on many fronts, and something that makes me very happy.

That receiving line to hug the Pitt Boss Hawg gave me the emotionals.
