PAWWWLLL, how the turntables have turned.

Shot.

Jerome from Birmingham called in to “The Paul Finebaum Show” on Monday in a hysterical state. Mighty Alabama had fallen, and the sky would soon follow.

“We live in the moment, and right now my (dang) moment ain’t good!” Jerome shouted, a feeling shared by many Alabama fans.

Chaser.

I’m old enough to remember when Finebaum asked that question about ‘Bama.

They still have more highly recruited players than everybody else and good enough coaches and more coming. This may or not be their year but the will be the team to beat for a while yet.

Georgia’s better than Alabama this year. It was bound to happen at some point, where Georgia’s mixture of experience and talent came together in the same season that Alabama’s didn’t. Next year, we may see a reversal, as Georgia replaces multiple pieces off this defense.

The only reason why Penis-Head Finebaum is saying stuff like this now is because he knows Saban can and will use it as motivation.

Everything he does and says is to help Bama, be assured of that above all.

    • Nah, everything Pawwwllll does and says is to help Pawwwllll. And stirring up the listeners/viewers with provocative questions keeps his ratings high. Pawwwllll’s a bandwagoneer first and foremost—he clowned Bama hard during Tuberville’s six-year winning streak in the Iron Bowl, then turned around and became Bama’s biggest fan once the Saban dynasty started cranking up. And should UGA rise up and become the SEC’s new powerhouse, Pawwwllll will have plenty to say about how Kirby has turned both Bama and Auburn into his bitches. It’s all about riling up his easily rile-able listener base and getting them to keep calling in.

This. Paaaaaaaawl is a rank opportunist and disguised pro wrestling promos as actual analysis.

Agreed. Pawwwwl understands he can rub two fan bases together and make money. Hate listeners are still listeners, and advertisers only care about ratings. All the incindiery comments? Just a bridge for advertisements.

Think you might be over-inflating this sentient ball sacks’s influence on the game. Can’t imagine many coaches or players give the slightest of fucks what he says or thinks.

I’d say Bama has the best chance because Saban will fix the issues the best he can.

I agree that Alabama is still the team to beat for sure. But I don’t think Saban can necessarily force them to be better than they are and I believe Georgia absolutely will beat them all things personnel wise remaining the same for us or getting better.

We are playing a walk-on 5’10” qb and have major questions on the offensive line and more injuries than we can count.

The idea that we are that far from a bad game seems strange to me

True, if Auburn could have figured out how to exploit walkon Dan Jackson in the secondary, they could have made some hay there.

But luckily our D line kept the pressure on Nix and he didn’t have the time to do so.
