Your Daily Gator places his bet.

Florida’s a 14-point underdog Saturday?  Ain’t no thang, mane.

I’m starting to think that if Jones starts, Gator fans are going to boo their team more loudly than our fans will, and I am so there for that.

“Steton Bennett got pulled from the game”? He was shredding them when he got injured on a touchdown throw.

This guys knows st about fk

Technically, Stetson went out with an injury and then went back in and was then pulled.

Migraine, I knew exactly what you meant. Some folks always have to be the smartest person in the room though.

“*Especially because they lost last year.. we’re playing with house money *”

There’s no more to it, that’s the entirety of the comment. It’s like some sci-fi movie, where an utter nonsensical equation gets feed to the evil computer to make it’s logic board crash and save the world. It’s so baffling it borders on brilliance.

Meanwhile, your Daily Gator lost another top 100 recruit

And that has sent them over the edge. Kirby’s now so deep in their heads that they can’t think straight. He’s morphed into an Omnipotent being that can control and manipulate everything recruiting. He and Humphrey apparently conspired to time this for the sole purpose of damaging the Gators. This from the Swamp Talk 24/7

“By the by, Smart is just playing games with us. The flip would have happened sooner, but Smart wanted him to do all this right before the game.”

You just couldn’t make shit up that would top what is actually coming out or their mouths (keyboards).

That kid is from right down the street. Glad to see he’s seen the light.

Maybe he announces to UGA at half time this weekend. That would be the ultimate adding insult to injury. Omnipotent Kirby can orchestrate that to upset the ditch lizards before the start of the 2nd half. Tactical advantage. Do we have a Psy-Ops department at Butts-Mahre?

That was fun. Although, later in the thread there are some realists, knowing they’re about to get their asses kicked.

This AR15 kid is explosive, but he also makes a lot of mistakes. He isn’t ready for what is coming on Saturday and I think Dan doesn’t. And neither is their fan-base.
This is a generational defense that a freshmen QB has never remotely come across. Georgia blew up Clemson’s QB, if they start this kid, Georgia will blow him up too. He’ll make just as many, if not more bad plays than he will good.

I hope Bennett gets pulled after his sixth TD pass.

  6. D as in Dawg

This guy is smarter than Kanell. That’s about all he’s got going for him.

I do think we’re in for a fight this week. Everything is just too good to be true right now and my inner Munson is falling back on its training. If I’ve ever been embarrassingly wrong, may it be this week!!

Your Daily Gator says, “…hopefully Granthas* can manage a few stops.” Hope is doing a lot of heavy lifting and she doesn’t look like she’s ever been in a gym.

  8. Stetson was going through Grantham’s defense like shit through a goose before he was hurt, and we just didn’t have a backup. That won’t be the case this year.

Their fan base is turning on Mullen fast. A month ago they’d be happy if he canned TG. Their mood has changed dramatically.

If he’s that good, why hasn’t he been the starter? Mullen knows the kid has some serious flaws…we’ll see what they are.

This! What is this bullshit myth about how great Richardson is? Based on what?

Which is the most boomer shit ever. It sounds like a bunch of suburban white dads trying to sound “gangsta”. I say this as a very unhip forty three year old that most of you would probably call a redneck because I had rather hunt and fish than do just about anything.

      • Check out this film breakdown. Richardson has a cannon, makes quick decisions, is Cam-like how he runs.

His flaw is that if he’s under pressure he can make bad decisions. But he seems to always identify the open guy and how he runs opens up their offense. Florida is #1 in the nation in offensive YPp with him at the helm.

Mullen also equivocated on Dak as a freshman. It’s a thing Mullen does.

Is our defense elite? I believe so. But this kid is a threat unlike any other we are gonna see at qb this year other than vs someone in playoffs.

Jones has a completion average over 10% higher than Richardson. Twelve int’s between them in 7 games, and those games include Vandy, USF and FAU! These are not good QBs.

I am biased and that probably colors my impression of last year’s game but as I recall we were moving the ball prior to Stetson getting hurt and but for the wheel route against an injured Monte Rice and another pick-six that was dropped we could have got within a score in the second half. As a Georgia fan who started watching in the 90s I have seen some Florida ass kickings and 2020 wasn’t one. FTMF and Go DAWGS!

GatorNation is so incredibly self-delusional about Stetson Bennet.

They’ve created a false narrative for this game based upon last year’s, totally ignoring the following:

    1) Stet was performing just fine including a laser TD pass into the end zone when he was tackled and significantly injured his shoulder on the same play. UGA had no reliable backup at that point. So he had to stay in the game, but unfortunately could not hit those open deep balls.

    2) In a shortened season with no spring practice, Trask had the huge advantage of having already played under Mullen’s system for at least a couple of years, while Bennett did not have the equal opportunity under Monken. The entire offense was still learning on the fly. Fast forward an entire year later and we see:

    3) Stetson’s stats ranking as high as anyone in the country regarding efficiency.

The bottom line is it doesn’t take much of an objective look to see that Bennett 2020 and Bennett 2021 are two different QBs, nor is it a surprise as to why.

    We’ve got two fine QB’s.
Everyone seems to assume that SB is starting. He may.
But I suspect that JT is healthy, armed and dangerous.

Ok, I referenced this in the comments for another post. You saw it too then. Richardson has never started a game and seen limited action but he’s as good as Tebow to hear them tell it. Hell hes better than Tebow.
