Gator greatness

This is some list.

It’s even bleaker when you consider that one of Florida’s wins is over Vanderbilt.

At least know Dan’s got it under control now.

…and one of South Carolina’s win is over Florida.

Man, I hate to see Grantham go. At least we still have Mullen for a bit.

One of those should not be like the others…..but it is, and it couldn’t happen to a better bunch of assholes.

  3. I said the games early were a mirage. The Bama game was a mirage … the Tide had a chance to step on their necks in the 2nd quarter and didn’t get it done. This FU team threw everything they could to prepare for Bama throughout the offseason (and I bet during the season). When they lost (oops, I meant their moral victory), that let the air out of the balloon. By the time Jacksonville rolled around, they had nothing left in the tank.

    Hate it for them. /s

    • I think there’s some truth to that. I also think that because they got into closer games with Kentucky and LSU, Mullen had to burn those PA passes to the running back right down the seam.

Those were nifty and creative and I’m guessing meant for Georgia, but he couldn’t keep them in the bag.

I don’t buy that it was a mirage. It was a matter of team-wide focus and effort, IMO. I also think that there was much more team-wide focus and effort in the WLOCP, and getting their asses kicked anyway is a big part of why they threw in the towel vs SCe.

      • The reason for the statement of the mirage is that FIU (or FAU) and USF aren’t very good at all. The Bama game was going south, and then Bama lost focus in the 2nd quarter when they had a chance to blow the game wide open.

I get your point about the WLOCP.

If you had told me at the beginning of the season that South Carolina would beat Florida by three touchdowns and Bama would have to hold on at the end to beat them by two, I would have checked you into a mental hospital.

I heard some talk yesterday about “now we know just how bad Florida is” (in relation to Alabama’s slim wins in particular). Why doesn’t anyone seem to be able to fathom that teams change over the season? This is clearly not the same team that played Alabama. They suck out loud now but were never up to the hype, I get it. But if they played Tennessee again this week, who would you take? Gators beat Vowels 38-14 a while back. There has to be some change-based explanation for that.

If Florida’s mission was to bring MSU football to Gainesville, I’d say mission accomplished. Mullen’s record is eerily similar.

I have it on good information (Swamp 247) that when Danno is done completely destroying florida football for the foreseeable future he’s going to bank a sizeable buyout and retire to Lake Oconee, so no entity of any sort affiliated with florida will get a fucking dime of it back. The fucker likely won’t stop for gas on the way out of town until he hits Valdosta.
For all our #FTMF? Dan Mullen has royally goat-fucked gatornation. I can’t stop smiling…

And one of FU’s 2 wins is against the team we’re suddenly so terrified of this weekend.

We can’t go to sleep on UT. They are playing much, MUCH better than I expected they would given their roster issues. It will be a hostile environment and we need to be totally locked in.

But, you’re either elite or you’re not, and only one team playing in Neyland this Saturday has earned the elite tag so far.
