Your Alliance can’t save you now.

With Utah’s 38-7 blowout of Oregon — the game wasn’t as close as the score indicates — the Pac-12 will miss the CFP for the fifth straight season.

That sound you hear is Greg Sankey’s phone ringing as George Kliavkoff calls to find out how soon they can get that 12-team playoff vote scheduled.

  1. I was thinking the same thing as the ACC and Pac 12 are both out. Throw in the likelihood that the Big 12 is out. $ankey finds himself this morning as the unofficial commissioner of college football.

    So at this point it’s

    Winner of OSU/Michigan
‘Bama, Ok State if they win bedlam, or Notre Dame

Can you imagine the stress in the committee room if it comes down to having to make a choice between Bama and ND? Their two favorite pets, and there is room for only one. They may expand the playoffs to 5 right there on the spot

A little of topic, but Florida opens the 2022 season with Utah. Hate to see it…

Maybe we just need an NIT for the pac 12 and ACC?
