Bo knows.

Mr. Nix goes full blown Alabama/SEC refs conspiracy theory:

“Just few of those obviously controversial calls that were in that game raises some questions for sure—I guess, unless you’re an Alabama fan,” Nix said. “But that’s just part of the game. We’ve discussed it over and over and over. That’s not gonna change, no matter what happens.”

… Nix said that the questionable officiating is something that’s “always” gone on in Alabama games. The Tide has won nine of the past 13 matchups in the rivalry.

“I think you can watch the game, and anybody unbiased would think that something is different,” Nix said. “But it is what it is. It’s kind of how it’s always been, but that’s part of the game. And they have good players, you can’t take that away from them.”

That should make for some good discussion fodder on Finebaum.

He did! He whined about “no calls” in the Georgia game in the exact same way. He’s a loser.

Yeah, seems he’s one of those ultra-competitives that thinks anytime things don’t go his way people are cheating. Always a victim when he’s not winning….he must be fun to hang around with.

No way “the bo that don’t know” is a loser, he was raised in barner pajamas, dreams of playing football in that barn of a cow pasture, practiced tigle plays drawn up in a cats box, while using cat turds to represent barner players, that fellow has swam in the cesspool, bathed in that cesspool known as #AUBURN SUCKS!, could GAS less what this heisman wannabe has moving between those fucking ears on the side of that barner head, that dude is dead from the neck up…

Over the recent years, Auburn has had so many calls and breaks go totally their way that reversion to the norm makes them think they are getting hosed…….like our fans at their stadium.

The refs in a Bama/Barn game get quite confused, because the two teams they’ve gone out of their way to protect with bad calls are on the field at the same time.

If this blows up big, or there’s a blown call in the Iron Bowl, it’s a huge break for us: it could put Birmingham’s back to the wall to call the SECCG straight. I hope this gets a TON of attention, even if it’s just the talking heads doing their usual shilling for the stripes and ‘how dare anyone speak of it’.

    Keep talkin’, Bo…

Easy to talk that way when you are out injured and Will Anderson can break his whiny ass this week.

What an unlikable, spoiled, entitled douche.

I watched the game and the line judge just seemed to be making it up as he went along. He marked a player short of the line to gain and then moved his foot up to the line to gain when he spotted the ball. On a short touchdown run, he called the player short when his view clearly blocked by the defensive players (the player was not short and it was overturned). He didn’t seem to be favoring one team, he just seemed to be incompetent.

Look, Alabama does get calls sometimes. I don’t necessarily buy into some big conspiracy theory, it could just be a subconscious thing where the refs know which side is better. Obviously a few Dawg fans out there have made some pretty good money on the Tyler Simmons was onsides t-shirts but the call from that game that kills me more was the wide receiver starting his route on a touchdown play a full second before the ball was snapped and the Big Ten officials not even noticing. But they were just that, Big Ten officials. They didn’t have any reason to favor one SEC school over the other.

And, of course, everyone benefits from bad calls. If Mr. Nix wants to go back and give Arkansas their win from last year I’m sure they’ll be grateful. For him to act like Auburn of all schools hasn’t benefitted from some truly shitty officiating over the years (and just during his own career) then I’ll gladly do a Milo’s sweet tea spit-take in his face as I laugh at him. He’s a whiny punk bitch. But hey, whatever helps him sleep at night. He’s still convinced that he lost a 24 point game to Georgia because of the officials – 24 points. And we have a list of calls from that game that we didn’t like, too!

In summation, it’s real easy to talk your shit and get the other team mad when you’re not going to be going out there for your squad. I’m sure that your teammates appreciate you riling up the Tide during your paid radio appearances, clown.

Alabama gets hosed by a lot of non-calls. It seems a “big bad Bama doesn’t need my help” sort of thing? Probably a phenomenon headed Georgia’s way soon.

SEC officiating is atrocious across the board. LSU went full Crazy a couple of years ago and got some nice calls against Bama 2 years running out of it. The refs are easily worked, and they’re not great to begin with.

Just not a very well run operation

Does he not realize that Auburn gets egregious calls in their favor regularly–especially in the Iron Bowl? It’s pretty obvious to me that the two teams from Alabama get deferential treatment from the SEC. It’s a wonder the heads of the Iron Bowl referees don’t explode trying to decide which favorite should get the call.

Bo is a whinny little bitch BUT if UGA-BAMA comes down to being decided by an officials call what are the odds of it going our way? I will take my chances with driving the wrong way on I-285 during rush hour while eating gas station sushi washed down with Mexican tap water before I will take any chances on SEC officials giving us a fair call when playing Bama. We have to make sure we have this thing out of hand early and keep it that way so the Birmingham Zebras can’t work their magic.

Y’all watch. The refs will do everything in their power to keep Bama in the game with us. The dome has not been our friend when it comes to playing the elephants

  22. I’m still waiting for a presser that goes something like this…

“Coach, many believe that PI on 4th and 21 was a phantom call. We know that as a result they were able to kick a final field goal to win. What did you think of it?”

‘I think we ran 64 plays and scored 3 touchdowns. If we had scored on any of the other 61 plays, that play wouldn’t have mattered. So, to pin the loss on a single flag is ridiculous.’

Oh, and Bo Nix is a douche. I’ve been saying it since the first time I watched him play on SkyCam and heard the way he talks to refs and to his teammates. He IS Auburn Football.

    Auburn Sucks.

  23. sniffer

Can I offer a perspective? I umpired back in the day. My pride was too strong to be influenced by who was playing and I suspect most refs/umpires think the same. Did I make bad calls? Yeah, it happened and I made some make up calls. But the notion that SEC refs are told by the conference to favor any particular team seems unlikely to me. Yeah, Sankey would be thrilled to have two teams in but I doubt he or anyone has stated or implied a certain outcome. They couldn’t keep it under wraps if they did. I have nothing to add to the statement that referees are bad and make bad calls far too often. They do. But pre arranged outcomes are a bridge too far.

    • I just don’t hold that Sankey would be naive enough to make that phone call with the “assuredness” that both teams get in. He’d basically be saying “I want both, but I’d rather have JUST Bama, than JUST Georgia”… which in this year, is a bad bet…because Bama could absolutely get beat in the first round.

Nah, if anyone made that call, it’d be Bama boosters, not the SEC itself.
