Pity the poor Sabanator

Nick has a Thanksgiving message for the Tide fanbase.

Uh, fellas?  I think you misspelled “whine” there.

  1. I can’t tell, is there a football game on TV in the back of the room where people are cheering? Or is that them cheering particular points of Nick’s get off my lawn rant?
Takeaway for Bama fans. Never criticize the team. Be happy Bama is so good when they get teams best shots, but ..feel somewhat sorry for players because they get teams best shots. As a fan, do not be self absorbed enough to associate winning with your own self esteem and then get pissed when they lose. Kids go to school, try hard and get angry when they lose. Nick doesn’t want to hear how angry you are. He will protect his players against your wraith with a wall of angry rant if you come at em.

It took him a little bit, but then he kicked it into high gear and really started ranting.

Sounds like a man worried about an ass-kicking in two weeks.

I agree Russ. It sounded to me like what ended in a pissing on the fans started as a desperate plea to the playoff committee.

After so many losses to the Tide, I have a hard time believing we can win even though my head tells me UGA has the better team this year. However, after seeing this rant from Saban, I think UGA covers whatever the spread may be in the SEC title game. That does not sound like a coach with confidence in his team.

Someone clearly listened to Kirby’s halftime speech and decided he needed to remind recruits that there’s still some vinegar is those veins.

My favorite part is how he mixes the mantra we get everyone’s best shot with think of the kids with the line we get everyone’s best shot and that’s not fair to the players.

With all the praise for two loss teams, it’s like he’s preparing the fans, media, and selection committee with talking points for just such a scenario.

I got a big wedge of Merlot Bellavitano to go along with that whine there, Sabanocchio. The Gumps themselves are the crackers for that party.
    Sniveling bitches.

That’s a fine cheese, RR. The merlot Bellavitano and Cabot Lamberton are my go-tos. They’re too good for crackers (Bama fans or otherwise).

I don’t know, Eric. I found the MB goes well with Potted Meat (with natural flavors), saltines in the little 4 pack I snake from restaurants and Two Buck Chuck. Damn hard to find Boone’s Farm Strawberry Hill.

GurkhaDawg, I took my nephew snorkeling in the Broad River a few years ago. He’d never had Vienna sausages or canned sardines as his mom told him they were nasty and his dad, my brotherfromanothermother is a candy ass, couch tater. He’s 23 now and keeps a stash of that chow in his F-150 in a go bag along with a .45 XD.

What else are you gonna stash in your F-150? Sounds like your nephew is well prepared for any evil that may come his way.

I carry the same stuff as the nephew. A bit more per the nature of my job and depending where I’m traveling. A custom XDM and extra mags always. If I’m working? FN Suppressed SBR & map bag full of 30 rd mags w/27 rounds.
Yeah, that sounds a bit crazy to be toting that shit and especially to talk about it. But according to the federal agents that inspect me, I’d be nuts not to carry that. I train regularly even though I’m winding down operations now and don’t feel the need for opsec as much. Hell, I don’t even vary my route anymore. Got used to staying at home and keeping an eye on things.
                It’s nice out here.

I’m a bit too old and busted up to conduct ops. But I’m hell in a static defense. I also have a 25lb and 10lb fire extinguishers in convenient spots. A hoe for dispatching the copperheads placed where I can grab it quickly. I post that so you know I’m thinking about different contingencies.

A hoe is a better option for dispatching poisonous snakes. I leave ’em be unless they’re close to homes where I know the occupants. Driving by my cousin Kermit’s, who had little children back then, I saw a copperhead so large that at first I thought it was a rattlesnake. Figured I couldn’t hit that bobbn’ and weavn’ head with my old, .45 so I popped it in the thick, stable middle and worked my way up to the head, which I totally destroyed as a pit viper head can cause issues long after it’s decapitated. Shot a full mag of 7+1.
I got to mom’s and she said Kermit’s krazy wife had called. Said I was shooting there.
                  ‘What was he shooting at?”
“I don’t know. Ranger Russ was shooting and I know he don’t like me so I figured it’s best I go back in the house.”
She’s crazy as hell. Not stupid.
Now I use hoes, “shovels and rakes and implements of destruction” when killing snakes so as not to agitate the natives.

Wow, Senator tee up a little “Sympathy for the Devil’
    Saban keeps saying Players,Players, Players!!!
Why do I keep hearing ME ME ME!!!!!!!
WE ALL KNOW THAT HE TAKES A LOSS WORSE THAN ANYONE ON GODS GREEN EARTH!
That’s one of the things that makes him the G.O.A.T.
But dang this just sounds like sombody needs a pacifier and a nap!
By the way dont the Dawgs get every bodies best shot since we became #1?
Thank god we didn’t play any “Two loss Teams” those as we all just learned are the most dangerous??!!
PS i am not pissed off anymore, about that Clemson close win

      ^^This!
Look, Saban is so far the GOAT or at least the Greatest of this Era (fuck Tebow!), so it pains me that he goes full pussy/Meyer whining & blaming the media like a QAnon dimwit to gather support if he loses to UGA and has to try to get in with 2 wins.
Look, Saban, don’t be a cunt, and practice what you preach! Focus on the process, a’ight, take each game one at time, a’ight, beat a wounded Auburn, a’ight, don’t blame the media that your defense has sucked for a good portion of the season, a’ight, be thankful that with TAMU slipping, the CFP selection committee still gives you an advantage, a’ight.
Because win or lose, I will respect you, unlike Corch.

Here’s the thing, he’s not wrong. The problem is he’s only saying all this because he knows they aren’t going to win the NC this year. That’s the only reason he cares about any of that. He’s not going to give the fan base their birth right of “Anotha nashnal tahtle, Paaaaaaaaaaawl!” So now all of the sudden he’s got perspective. Y’all I don’t think Saban is long for college football. This looks like the beginning of the end to me. He’s human whether he acts like it or
not and after a while there is just no way to care as much as he once did. And this clip shows me that dealing with their entitled idiot fan base is wearing very thin with him.

Totally agree we can look back to this rant as the beginning of the end for him. Once the fun of coaching leaves him like SOS he’ll walk away from a fan base unlike any other.

  17. It’s time to short Bama stock. Recruits…do you want to play for your Big Brother Kirby, or grouchy grandpa? That was unloading a lot of pressure he’s feeling, because nothing really legitimate could have provoked that rant. Since it starts with “rat poison” the question was likely praise for the team and off he went to prepare for ANOTHER loss. Heavy is the crown.

  21. Take a good long look, Georgia fans… because that’s gonna be Kirby in about a decade. Hell, our idiot fan base has been riding his ass all year, and all his team has been doing is dismantling opponents.

Saban is 98% right (the other 2% being when he said the players don’t get paid). Games are hard to win, especially when you DONT have the best roster by a mile.

Quibbling and complaining about margin of victory? Trying to come up with the answer to your team’s problems working purely off your weekly exposure to them? Leave that shit be.

As Kirby ascends to the throne of CFB, I hope the UGA base will learn to simply enjoy the success and not turn the way of the Tide…

    Aight?

It was a lot of blowing hot air, but he is right about the Tide’s fans. I am surrounded by them, and they’re so damn spoiled that a 7 point win, or hell, even a 15-20 point win, has them bitching and moaning.

He’s right about that part. His fans are among the worst in all of sports, and it’s ironic because he’s largely to blame.

I have a feeling he’s been holding in this rant for years, and I bet other coaches are silently cheering (and wishing they had the winning record and authority to deliver something similar to their own unruly fanbases). He’s fed up with an entitled monster of his own creation. The sweet, whiskey-laced schadenfreude we’ll all savor in watching these insufferable ingrates come back down to Earth once Saban retires and they start losing is going to be magical. Can’t wait.

Every coach works year round to be the best. Alabama is on top and now Nicky is bitching about getting everyone’s best game because he is right where he always wanted to be. Grow up coach. Pressure is a privilege.
I don’t think Coach Nicky is long for this job of college coach. Bitching because your fans want you to be the best every year is what he worked for and now he is showing that the pressure is getting to him. It was nice knowing you, have a good retirement.
    Go Dawgs..
