Sometimes, it really **does** mean more.

Shot.

Chaser ($$).

Seth Emerson: Matt Luke now works for the team I cover, and if there’s a chance to talk to him the first question will be: So what’s it like to be fired because one of your players pretended to pee? Every time you see a dog peeing, do you need a minute to collect yourself? College football is so great.

It really is.

Who ‘ya got tonight?

Who do I have tonight? College football fandom, because Kiffin and Leach should put on a show!

An offensive feast for the senses!

It will be hard to top the 2019 game. A player lifts his leg, loses the game for his team, and both head coaches are fired within the week.

I don’t care who wins although I have friends who are MSU grads and other friends whose kids went to Ole Miss – I have no personal stake and the friends connections cancel each other out. But it is bound to be entertaining. Especially sideline interviews. Unless it is just sloppy play on both sides, it will be interesting.

We were in London during this game, and we were wiped out. I think I woke up the next morning to catch our flight, and I saw the memes and couldn’t figure out what happened.

What a great, stupid rivalry those dummies have.

The Egg Bowl is a lot like one of those South American wars that used to occur every so often. You know there are going to be casualties, pointless atrocities, and a general debasement of the human soul. But you just won’t be able to turn away.

I’d never have thought the Egg Bowl would get so much national attention, but here we are! And like DD’sbooty, I have some great friends from both of those schools. I hope it’s competitive and fun to watch.
It’s a great way to end a day of Thanksgiving and it’s early enough to make getting up in the morning not so bad.
and GO DAWGS…CRUSH TECH! (If I were the OC, the first series would be running 99 off right tackle every down…just to soften them up a little).

Leach will spend an hour after the game talking about the historical pronunciation of pecan.

Kiffin will still be carrying the golf ball.

    MSU in a squeaker.

Both coaches are real odd balls in their own way. Doubt it will he a boring game. Even if it is a little slow, someone will usually do something monumentally stupid to make it memorable.

I got the Pirate. We ate outside with a small group and, since Da Berz suck I didn’t mind missing it so now I get to settle in.

I’ve lived in Oxford and Starkville. Starkville is waaay underrated (except for a lack of shade, if you care about that like I do), and Oxford is waaay overrated.
Oxford people are exactly like you imagine them: parochial, rich, entitled–but good–people. Starkville people are just like us. Fun Fact: If you’ve never actually seen cricket played in person, Starkville is one place you can see it played casually by some of the students.
When Dan Mullen was HC, I rooted against MSU, even though I was enrolled there. Since then, I have to say I much prefer MSU, and Leach. Pirate for the win.

    These two asshole announcers again?
Turning the TV sound down and playing Buck Owens “Corn Liquor” on a three hour loop is preferable to listening to those jerks run their cockholsters.

No one loves to hear themselves bloviate and pontificate more than Greg McElroy.. He should be with Beth Mowins so I only have to mute one game per week.

McElroy is the worst. He can’t do a game without at some pointing calling out mistakes by coaches that only he is smart enough to notice. It’s hard always being the smartest guy in college football. He should ask Dan Mullen how that turns out.
