Dawgnation, this may need to be a new rule:

Quote that defines the rivalry: “Lose to Tech, you don’t put up a Christmas tree. That’s my rule.” — Erk Russell, whose family apparently went without the holiday tradition only four times in his 17 seasons as Georgia’s defensive coordinator from 1964 to 1980.

  2. I think I heard someone once say it best…Tech fans are like locusts. They have their moment once every thousand years or so, make a sh*t ton of noise, then die off and aren’t heard of again for another thousand years.

It might not be a thousand years, but when it does happen, a Tech win is more annoying than the cacophony of Roll Tides I hear all week every time we head to Orange Beach.

Lose to tech and you have to go and sit down on that bench that says Group W.
