A ray of hope

Corso’s picking Alabama in an upset today, because Alabama is the more desperate team.

I just don’t see that dynamic being in play here at all. But whatevs…

Agreed, CKS finally has the mindset on his team very similar to the AL mindset. This idea that there is drama impacting performance in this game is silly.

Desperate Bama as an underdog led by Saban? It’s not the most unreasonable hot take. But we are also a different team than year’s past. #HBTFD

Yeah the most desperate team always wins Ha. I think it’s more important why Alabama is desperate they’re injured and they’re not playing up to their potential. I don’t give to chucklefucks ( thanks Ben) what Corso has to say. I was there in 07 when Corso picked Alabama at Tuscaloosa! That didn’t work out too bad for us. I think I may have used chucklefucks a bit differently than Ben but it does seem to have a sort of utilitarian feel to it!!

  5. Are they really any more desperate than we are? This team wants the Bama monkey off their back. They want to end any speculation of a rematch in a playoff game. Other than Nick Saban (which is a big deal), what intangible does Alabama have on its side?

Since the Clemson game, this Georgia team has methodically destroyed everything in its path. Georgia woke up this morning still better on both lines of scrimmage.

I agree and think desperate is a poor choice of words. Bama doesn’t have the strong leadership on the team they have had in recent years. The team is young and emotionally immature… meaning Saban has done more coddling this year than most because the team can’t take his normal demeanor. All that to say that the Bama team is more sensitive to emotional highs and lows. They tend to be streaky. Bama is not desperate but they are the most emotional team today. Emotional teams tend to relish being an underdog. Don’t know if that will work out well today or not.

    • UGA’s fan base is more desperate.

      BAMA’s TEAM is more desperate.

I would love nothing more than for this season to culminate in the UGA fanbase’s transformation into that of one with an understanding that victory, while not guaranteed, is fully expected every single time the Dawgs take the field.

Desperate does not make one dominant.

That goofball said about Young “In his 4th quarter against Auburn, he won the Heisman”. Was Young really that good or is Corso really that much of a homer?

He’s had two strokes. It’s an absolute shame that his family and friends continue to trot him out every week. Have some dignity!

Who cares what that wooden Indian looking old pecker head has to say? Every poster on GTP has more knowledge of what’s going on with these two teams than he does.
Give me Todd Blackledge’s thoughts and I’ll listen up.
