Ga Tech squib kick was the most puzzling.
The most painful, for me, was 2012, followed closely by 2017. Dec 4th, 2021, was just more of the same and I’m numb to it at this point.

I’ve got no interest in donning that hairshirt right now. We’ve got two games to go win to win a national championship next month. Save that crap for the offseason. This feels like the college football equivalent of going to confession and then being told if you say 30. Hail Marys it will absolve us of those losses.

It’s not like we had our hearts ripped out by blowing a big lead and/or losing on the last play of the game. I’ve been baffled more than pained by the results.

We just need to own the culture we have. I’m not sure we would know how to process reality if we won it all anyway. At least we have amazing regular seasons and dominate overall series historically. There are far worse cultures around the country.

2nd and 26, the stupid fake punt, and 2012 were so much more painful than Saturday night. It’s not even close for this guy. Saturday night we ran into a buzzsaw like 2019 LSU. Those other games felt ripped away from us for different reasons – poor officiating, bonehead decision + terrible execution, and just plain bad luck.

I have never seen the play. I went to my daughter’s house to watch it and her spectrum went out during the game and we had to listen to the radio broadcast the resof the way. I have no desire to watch the play and I always look away and mutate sound whenever it comes on a program i have no desire to see it.
