I still remember Roquan spurning the signing day routine and making up his mind on his own schedule.

Hog,
I remember him making the greatest tackle I ever saw in OT at the Rose Bowl. Third down runner going wide for a sure first down inside the ten. Until that wall of will power stopped him cold. Roquan didn’t give an inch to a man at full speed. OU forced into a field goal rather than winning TD.

That was a great move by him that was set up by a member of the UGA staff. He was set to sign with ucla but the lb Coach Jeff ulbrecht signed with Dan Quinn to be on the falcons staff. Someone let R know before he sent in his LOI. That’s a play Kirby or saban would be proud of.

Kirby smiled when he heard that and probably asked R to say it. Always be ‘crootin.

Roquan made the greatest play I’ve ever seen by someone who was being held WHILE HE WAS MAKING THE PLAY in South Bend.

Alec Ogletree was next in that sequence and he said he was from “God’s Kingdom” (or something like that) instead of Georgia. It’s my understanding that some schools won’t let you say you played at that school unless you’ve gotten your degree. I’m guessing that’s why Ogletree went with that. Anybody know if that’s correct?

I hope it’s not correct. I am all in favor of getting a degree, but how can they stop you from saying where you played – which is really all that is relevant in that bit.

Ogletree has said Georgia before.
