You need a little Jordan Davis and his emotional send off to the Redcoats this morning.
For all its warts, there’s just something about college football, ‘ya know?

We’re going to miss JD. One of the very greatest Dawgs of all time, a big huge hell of a man and a big ole’ loveable teddy bear of a monster.

#99 will rep the “G” with pride, honor and dignity…more to the point, there is something very special about the Red Coats, before, during but even more special is hanging out after the games and watching, touching, feeling the soul of the Red Coats, knowing they are just students, they are our students and through time are the pulse of the student section, will always bitch about the decision behind “Tara’s Theme”, another conversation for a different time…GO DAWGS! (The football team’s ain’t bad either!)…

How can anyone not love this kid (unless you’re an opposing lineman). He’s the personification of what we all love about college football and what sets it apart from the NFL.

From 3 Star who almost went home early in his time at Georgia to soon to be rich NFL talent he clearly appreciated the moment and not miss a thing. As happy as we all were just imagine the joy he was feeling at that moment.
Couldnāt be happier for all those guys.
Only after I got home and rewatched the game did I catch the intense look on the Georgia guys at the coin flip. They looked like fighters waiting for the bell to ring especially Dean. When was the last time Georgia won the toss against Bama?
I know it didnāt mean anything to the finally score but just something to how much it meant to some guys. 47 Don Jackson just blowing up some Bama guy as Ringo was about to score. That hit was glorious from another former walk on playing well beyond his nature abilities.
Anybody who says Kirby canāt develop football players or quarterbacks is either lying or ignorant. This team is a reflection of their coach.

Yup from 3 Star to Superstar but Kirby can’t coach or develop players.

Scoob, perfectly writtenā¦for me, seeing Cine lay the wood to those Bama backs and receivers was a thing of beauty too. You could hear the rattling of Bama bones through the tv speakersā¦I loved it.

99 is a DGD. We are going to miss him on and off the field.
His connection to the Redcoats and the student body overall is something I hope Kirby tries to sell to his players.

I don’t think there has ever been a player that showed his love of the university, team and fans more the Jordan Davis.

I’ll just echo everyone else and say how glad I am that Jordan Davis is a Dawg. Great young man, great representative of UGA, and great representative of college football! Best of luck and health to him.

Thatās just the best.
All of this started when Jordan Davis decided he had UNFINISHED BUSINESS and convinced as many other juniors as he could to come back. I know we couldāve used Stokes and Campbell, but good on them for getting that high draft pick money.
Davis though, went from a third rounder to an almost certain top-15 pick by staying, shedding weight, and become the heart and soul most dominant defender in all of CFB!!!
Thank you Godzilla-99! This National Title started with you!
Business finished!!!
