    The only thing I know of Venice, FL is that by reputation it is one of the nicer places to be on the Gulf Coast.

    I wonder who Kirby and Dabo are recruiting down there?

    OMG! This is my neck of the woods! If I had known Kirbs was down here, I would have worn my #34 jersey and hung out outside of the high school to see if I could yell GO DAWGS at Kirbs! Dang! Oh well. Next year!

    That’s my home town! Their coach graduated several years after me, we sucked majorly at football when I was there. All of a sudden, they started winning state titles and crushing it in all the major sports. It’s a completely different school, nothing like the good ol’ boy days I remember.

    There’s a 4* safety there that’s getting a lot of attention from the big boys; everybody’s trying to squeeze one more blue chip out of the ’22 crop.

        Tell me about it, I graduated from Milton High in ‘88. We won zero games in my four years. I wish everyone could see what Alpharetta was like in ‘84.

          Lithia Spings 88′ here. We had a stud running back (Henry Love) who was one of the AJC’s elite 11 and was being recruited heavily, but unfortunately, we had Dooley’s old playbook (Herschel left, Herschel right, Herschel up the middle). He ended up breaking his leg his senior year.

          Ahhh the glory days of Milton. As a 90 grad from Roswell I remember the chant “M-I-L … T-O-N … Milton! Milton! O and 10!”

          Fellow Alpharetta area native here, although I went to Chattahoochee. I was just a kid at the time but I do remember it in the late 80s. T ball at Wills Park, followed by a trip to the Dairy Queen!
