And now, a word from Bryan Harsin’s sponsor

Sheesh.  Not exactly the proverbial vote of confidence there.

UPDATE:  Holy crap.

Helluva first day you got yourself, Dr. Roberts.

    Take your time, Mr. Gogue.
If you offered a pay subscription service for those in the public who would like to know the details of the “facts” uncovered by your investigation in real time, then you could put a nice dent in the balance owed to . . .(checks notes) . . .well, let’s just say “a few” former coaches.

Dr. Roberts, if you’re looking for the transfer portal you just just follow any one of your football players. They’ll show you where to find it.

Wonder what would have happened if Auburn had beaten Bama in overtime?

Roberts’ term doesn’t become effective until May 16, 2022. And in a twist that is so Auburn, the Board of Trustees suspended the Bylaws at the meeting today so that they could vote on Roberts since it wasn’t on the meeting agenda.

Man… seriously, there is no greater hive of scum and villainy than the big money Auburn Boosters.

Harsin was always a bad fit, but you have to feel like a lot of what’s happened this off-season is him trying to clear out the entitled and the rot from the program. Remember, the reason why The Barn didn’t hire Kirby is because he demanded full autonomy and to run the program like he wanted, now how Mr. Yellawood and the rest wanted him to do.

Even if Harsin did do what was rumored, and man what a smoke show, that is only going to be the excuse. That’s not the reason. The reason is no one tells the big money Auburn Boosters “no” and lives to see another day.

Eh, I wouldn’t call Bobo and Mason part of the “entitled” at Auburn. I don’t doubt he’s trying to install his Boise buddies though.

“Install”? Is that what the kids are calling it now?

It’s widely known that the Bobo and Mason hires were “suggested” to Harsin by Auburn and the boosters. He didn’t want them, and that can lead to acrimony on both sides.

Harsin’s quotes in the Chris Low piece speak volumes: “You have to let your head coach be your head coach.” He’s bucking against the classic “Auburn Boosters being Auburn Boosters” atmosphere.

Now you have players on the team calling out the whiners as those who left because they’re entitled and won’t take hard coaching.

So maybe it’s not all that it seems.

Auburn Booster will be Auburn when Harsin is long dead and gone. But good luck to him and his recruiting strategy with his guys in place now. I’m sure as shit looking forward to it.

For sure, those asheholes can’t help themselves, and I want nothing more than Auburn to fail.

However, after all the rumors and innuendo of that last couple of days, I feel bad that they’re going to railroad this guy after they saddled him with coaches he didn’t want among all the other crap Auburn boosters do.

It really is amazing how long UGA keeps coaches / Presidents / ADs around compared to other institutions. Sometimes it’s annoying but it sure beats the other way around.

I guess it comes down to how discrete they were. Anything in the office? Anything ever said to a co-worker? Dumb enough to text/email on Auburn-owned devices?

Otherwise, they could just dig in and deny.

I understand Harsin is on “vacation”….
    Question for those who know…
Is it common for D1 coaches to go on vacation right after NSD?
Given their poor crooting in this cycle and the players jumping ship…
Is this the time to go on “vacation?”
    or
Is this a get the hell out of Dodge???
