Musical palate cleanser, the Godfather, stripped, edition

I didn’t know what to expect from an acoustic version of “Papa’s Got A Brand New Bag”, but, damn, if this doesn’t slap.

And, yes, he’s that Magic Dick.

    Nice morning surprise to me find thanks. Strange pairing I would have not expected to work so well on a JB tune. Great to see The MD still alive and well.

    J Geils at the Fox doing Full House is one of my all time favorite concerts man could those guys kill it!
    That album is still a blast to put on and rock from one end to the other! Magic Dick is still da man! Thanks Senator had not heard this!! Could not even imagine what James Brown and Magic Dick could have come up with together?

      Y’all make me feel young, thanks! I didn’t get on the Geils train until the “Love Stinks” album came out. But, man, I dearly love that album and “Freeze-Frame”.
