Cox is the best in the conference in pointing out to teammates who has the ball. Valuable asset.

Cox has been around for so long with no highlights (positive highlights that is) to show for it that they must believe that this will be THE year.

obviously cox is on the list for his instinctive and high motor pointing of fingers capabilities in order to help direct team mates to tackle opposing players that he deems unnecessary to continue his pursuit

can’t believe we have two OL on the list. gone are the days of the private school OL on our roster

    • That private school roster like Andrew Thomas of Pace Academy.

Or Salyer. And Tate Ratledge will be a starter.

        • Yep … or the Marist guys who have been productive or the Boss David Andrews of the Wesleyan School. Hell even John Theus from Bolles in Jacksonville. Last I heard IMG Academy is a private school, so Nolan Smith (also of Savannah Christian) and others are private school players.

Richt took a chance on one guy who played GISA ball and it became this meme.

meant it is good to finally have a solid, élite OL as compared to the past

      • Then say that because the private school comment doesn’t hold water. There are a ton of private schools in Georgia that play some damn good football.

Our offensive line play has improved as we have gone national with our recruiting. The offensive line room is 50/50 in vs out of state.

Hope Kirby proves us wrong with the Searels hire. No excuse beyond underwhelming coaching for this oline not to dominate this year.

Am I the only one that isn’t impressed with Henry T. of Alabama? He’s okay, but he’s not a Ragland or Roquan by any means. I’m happy they don’t have anyone better.

    • I’ve always thought he was extremely overrated.

Not impressed. I rewatched the nat’l championship game the other day. No way Toto would have stopped Bowers before he scored his 4Q TD but Toto’s angle of pursuit or whatever FB people call it was awful. Had Dorothy been there, she would have kicked him out of Oz.

Two OL’s and a TE. One player at each level of the defense. I like it!

“Brenton Cox – he played for a while at Georgia, so he must be great.”

There are several names there that raise an eyebrow.
Kirby’s holding a lot of stealth talent under the radar.

  9. To say Two High Commas is on a par with NOLAN SMITH? Go home, USA Today, you’re drunk.

The defense list just gives me more confidence that we will have the best defense in the SEC again this year.

Cox’s issue has been motivation all along, this is his “contract year” so expect an improvement. Expect him to point with both hands.

Damn, quality must be down this year on D!
