Naw, not that New Coke. This one:
Might have to get that to display next to my 1980 commemorative bottle.

Just when I think I’ve purchased all the championship memorabilia I need… they pull me back in. 🙂

Nice. A mix of the new emblem and old Uga. Probably filled with corn syrup Coke which will prevent me from ever drinking it.

Corn syrup ruins Coke. Here in Coweta a local general store carries the Mexican Cokes that uses cane sugar. Get a sleeve of salted peanuts, pour in bottle, watch it fizz and enjoy.

Just had one this morning at ‘effin egg’! no peanuts though

Yes sir, CowetaDawg. A blast from the past at a premium price. I make that up drinking ice cold PBR in a frosty Cooper’s fishbowl mug. Less expensive than Corona or Mexican Coke.

Still wish they would bring back the tall glass bottles like we had in 1980. One of my favorite pieces of Dawgs memorabilia.

Mamadawg won’t bitch as much about the shorter bottle.

Gotcha beat, 22!!
I’m still sittin’ on a whole case. Buddy of mine gave it to me for my 30th B’day.

Wish I could get them down in Florida. Have to put in an online order I guess.

We recently moved and the wife saw my 1980 bottles and asked why do you still keep those old things. Well I still keep you around was my answer. That apparently not the A answer to her question.
I once said no more Coke products. I’m OK if Kirby forces me to amend that standing order once per year. I like the design I wish it was offered in the classic 1980 style. That’s not a complaint before someone jumps in. I’ll never complain about National Championships just keep them coming please.

I think they heard all the moaning about their 1st bottle…that was a big 💩if you ask me.
Now, I think I’ll have to search 1 out myself!
Special order I assume

That special order bottle isn’t worth the trouble.

Just a plastic wrap around a normal bottle? Weak sauce. Where’s the extra love for the local team? I would have loved a version with King Uga and the Championship Shield printed directly on the glass. The crown was an inspired choice, though. I’ll take what I can get

So that is just a plastic wrapping? It’s not actually printed on the bottle?? That’s too bad.

Would be great for us out-of-state folks if they would publish a list of stores/places where you can get these. I’m willing to drive over the state line to get one (or more), but with gas prices where they are, I’m not interested in going on a treasure hunt.

I guess we should be happy the plastic wrap is on a glass bottle and not cans or plastic bottles.

I already have the cans.
