$95 million for this kind of coaching genius?
Priceless.

Even if no one was defending Evan and he caught the ball, it wouldn’t have mattered because he was coming out of the endzone to catch it and his momentum would have carried him out of bounds at the 1 or 2!

A mistake by the play caller ( poor play selection) and poor execution by the WR.

Dumbo is flashing his contract around College Station this morning. They were gifted the best circumstances for knocking off the Tide … no Bryce Young, a +3 turnover margin IIRC, a late penalty that gave them the one shot at the end zone, and 2 missed FGs by a normally reliable kicker (he’s probably breathing easier).
Dumbo may have had his 2nd string QB in the game (although he was the day 1 starter), and their offense was putrid again.

They obviously aren’t paying Jimbo enough. This one was on the boosters.

Well, Jimbo did come damn close to landing another L on the GOAT. Every buck spent on Jimbo means they have less for recruits.

That play has to be a deep corner fade. Why did that look eerily similar to another last play failure against Bama at the goal line?

It has to anything into the end zone & not sideways to a WR running out of the end zone! Looked like the QB was saying “I can’t believe I threw it there” after the play. Just no excuse for that, but that’s what often happens when hurried & under stress.

Not a bad called play if the WR runs to a spot 1 yard near the back end zone line then turns and comes back for the ball about 1 yard in the end zone.
Poorly written, I hope you understand what the play should look like.

Maybe Jimbo reasoned that God can read his thoughts, so no harm in telling him out loud

Well at least he can recruit (Let the NIL do it). Better luck next year Jimbo your boys are out of the CFP hunt.
