Had one Bama fan tell me the other day the only thing that matters to him the rest of the year is that we don’t win the title. Said he’d rather see UT win than us, even tho UT is a much more hated traditional rival.
It burns them up to no end that they have been outperformed by teams led by Stetson Bennett. Like, it’s almost irrational how much they hate him.

They know their window, which has been open for 14 years, is closing and they can’t stand it. Knowing that Kirby had so much to do with their success irks them. And discovering Saban is not invincible makes them panic.

Did you asking him the follow up question of whether he would rather listen to Auburn fans brag for a year about how Auburn won in Tuscaloosa with an interim coach to finish 3-5 in the conference if OSU beat UGA than he would beat Auburn and UGA win the CFP?

I can’t fathom the way those people think. After the unbelievable run of success they’ve had it isn’t enough. They think they’ve been cheated somehow if it’s not total domination all the time.
I’m determined not to become like them. And I don’t want our fan base to start acting like theirs. That’s why I bitch so much about people nitpicking every little thing after lop sided wins. We do not want to be like them.

If I was Erik I would be proud of the man-child Saban spawned and try to take credit for it. Especially since some of Saban’s other progeny include a Jimbo and Pruitt. And then he predicts a 4 touchdown victory for UGA in the SECCG.

I think we also have a much lower floor than they do and are built to be less prone to wild fluctuations. Georgia is as steady as it comes as a program. And while they have passionate fans that will mortgage their trailer for the Tahhhhd, we have a larger fanbase with deeper pockets and it’s not particularly close.
