A transitive mystery

Can someone explain how the ACC’s best defense gave up 38 points to Florida, while the SEC’s worst defense gave up 24 the week before?

    Easy peasy: the ACC sucks.

Clearly the ACC sucks, but Florida State did also beat LSU, fwiw.

I guess my point is, shouldn’t we just be happy the Handbags lost, rather than concerned with absurd conference supremacy thoughts? I personally will be very happy if all other SEC teams lose their bowl games for the rest of the decade.

Florida State could have run away with the game if they just tackled. So many plays they had guys in the place to make a stop and they just didn’t wrap up the ball-carrier. I don’t spend much time watching other teams, but watching those teams reminded me of how well our boys are coached on D.

Every Florida loss is a good loss. Then again I root for Georgia not the sec, especially since the conference hasn’t and will not bat an eye at fucking us over every time it’s convenient for them. Wouldn’t hurt my feelings at all if the sec was Georgia and the 13 dwarves similar to Miami and the big east or fsu in its hey day to the ACC. Never gonna happen given the caliber of programs in our conference but I love watching other sec teams lose ESPECIALLY Florida and auburn. FTMF.

Looked to me like Anthony Richardson had his best game of the season against the simi-holes. Kinda like Spencer Rattler had against 10RC. That explains part of the score – that Florida’s running back looked good last night helped too.

  6. Man that was a sloppy game. I stopped watching after the 50th UF red zone play in the late 3rd quarter. Lot of undisciplined play

      True that.
And what’s the deal with the fans and their need to gesticulate with their fat arms and shit-eating grins for a whole game?
If it’s not a jorts clad stoner doing the gator chop, it’s a misplaced coastal hillbilly chopping and grinning into the camera like a mule eating briars.
I’m told you can smell the armpits all the way to Micanopy, (which is the defining village of the UF culture, btw)
Braves fans should be ashamed of adopting that ridiculous chant and chop. It’s un-original and annoying. It fairly screams, “we need attention”
All of this crap almost makes the crowing rooster and war damn eagle look classy. In fact, the WDE is probably one of the purest and better traditions in sports. I hate to say that, but it’s true.
(Rocky Top will always be, the most F’d tradition in the wide world of sports, though).
Sports fans and teams need to allow their traditions to develop honestly.
      Clemson just makes shit up.
Here’s hoping the Admiral gets lucky!
      And get off my lawn.

A good ACC team = a mediocre SEC team

Stats are great at showing what you’ve done but in college football they only mean so much about how well the next game will go. Like, USCc against TN.

  10. Only time I chant “SEC SEC” is after we win it. I only care about the rest of the conference when it affects Georgia and will only pull for other SEC programs in very rare cases.

During Christmas season last year, I was up at Booger Bottom and they had whatever Toilet Bowl game on that TN was in. I started cheering for whoever they were playing… Wisconsin? They started giving me a ration about rooting for the SEC… I had on my UGA cap as normal. I said to them all, “Look, I’m a Dawg fan and that’s it. I despise TN, FU & AU and I hope they lose every game they play.” Dumbfounded the whole bunch of’em. F all TMF!

I watched that damn game. Felt like I was watching a car wreck in slow motion. The officials were EMTs who weren’t really EMTs, but they did stay at the Holiday Inn Express in Hogtown.

At least they scored more than the Gators
