As for Freeze – he’s gone from cutting edge to just another coach. Will they be better with time – sure. Will he take them to the Mountain Top. Highly unlikely.
This just tells me that there were other names out there that took a look at the dumpster fire and figured out that the chances of putting that out and building something was low %

I never believed Kiffin wanted the Auburn job, only to leverage it to a better situation at Ole Miss.
Lane wants the Bama job after Saban retires. He knows that the Gumps have never hired an Auburn head coach or former head coach, so if he took the job at The Barn he would never get the one job he really wants right now.
The Barners going after Freeze because Kiffin used them like a $2 whore to get more money for coaches and NIL at Ole Miss? That is most definitely the most Auburn thing they could do!
