I’m so happy to see a new post — hopefully this means that you’re on the mend, Senator!

Oh happy days! A new post from the Senator! Glad you’re on the mend.

As for the subject post, I can’t believe those two ego maniacs will get along for long. They better win right out of the gate because if they don’t, Jimbo will be throwing Bobby under the bus as fast as he can. I can’t wait to see what happens when they struggle to score 20 in a loss against a mediocre opponent.

Second your first thought Russ, and the rest. I’m just wondering, do the A&M cultists realize how very badly Jimbo has fucked them?

Not so much how jimbob fucked t&m vs how fast that check book loved the shininess of trophy talk, then the thoughts of shugarplums dancing in that frozen cavity between those ears…when the time arrives where dumping that god awful contract no longer resembles a giant $hit $andwich, jimbob be sailing off into the texas $un$et…GO DAWGS!!

I have friends who are grads of A&M but these two deserve to crash and burn in spectacular fashion.

I’d love to see Petrino finally “done” at the highest level. But I’m not holding out hope this go round. He’s kicked ass calling plays at every single stop, and A&M has better talent than he’s ever had before.

They’re most likely going to have some major success… if Jimbo can swallow his pride and get out of Petrino’s way.

Great to see a new post, welcome back!

As for Petrino/Jimbo, I think if Jimbo really lets Petrino run the offense and design the plays, A&M will be much improved. The problem (for A&M) is that he likely won’t.

Out of the sickbed gate with a high quality post — was there any doubt Bluto would deliver?!

I’ll repeat what I said when Biker Bobby was hired: O/U on number of games before him and Jimbo have a slap fight on the sidelines is 2.5.

Welcome back, Senator! To say you’ve been missed is an understatement! You’ve been a part of all our lives for so long it was a shock to our systems when you weren’t there as you have been. I’m glad you’re feeling better. I hope you continue to recover from whatever it was that had you down, but not out!

As for Jimbo and Bobby P, this is going to be the greatest slow-motion train wreck in CFB history and we’re all going to see it play out live and in color in 2023. Sometimes, the CFB Gods truly love us. I almost feel bad for the TAMU fans.

    … almost. Hah!

So, we can plan on Petrino making the calls but just gotta get that hedge in there – “we’ll see how it goes”.

Bobby Petrino is a gutless, lying, self-centered, selfish son of a bitch who’d step over his mother’s body to fulfill his desires. That Jimbo would hire him is all you need to know what type of person he is. It’s an indictment of Texas A&M that those two are the faces of their football program. Their only real success has come from “generational” QBs. That they’re just another couple of once above average OC’s so far in over their heads that all the cash available from the oil men won’t buy them a viable program is obvious to everyone but the oilman cult. It’s understandable of the oilmen as they’re Texans. You can always tell a Texan, you just can’t tell him much. They’re going to fuck around and find out.
It’s sad that if those two somehow avoid a Viking blood eagle from the other and win championships again they’ll be lauded and eventually shown the same respect as Petrino’s brother in verity, Saban.

Thanks for the new post, Bluto. I don’t get this type of thought provoking content from DawgNation or SDS.

2023 Peach Bowl is on SEC Network now. My money is on the Dawgs.

“15 Days in March” has a nice ring to it as a title for the movie to come. It needs a nice end of the world mood to it, since that’s how many of us felt without this blog.

I think Kevin Costner should play you, Senator. Costner from Yellowstone…Other parts are up for debate.

Great to have you back! I choose to take that as things are now going your way. You’ve certainly been missed.

Jimbo is clearly struggling to say he’s given up play calling. Crack#1 in the foundation of the Aggies new empire. This only ends one way with a massive flame out.

Also, I just pulled up A&M’s schedule to see if I could predict the day that this hastily arranged marriage between Jimbo and Petrino is going to fall apart, and man the Ags have it almost as easy as we do. It’s as easy as an SEC West schedule possibly can be. They only play four road games all year, one of which is at Miami in one of the more tame road environments you’ll ever see. They get Alabama at home. They do have to go to Tennessee and LSU, but man… this stacks up well for them.

What’s so fascinating about the A&M situation is that it feels like one of those rare moments in life when the audience knows what’s going to happen before the ‘actors’ do.

Jimbo is not equipped to run the program.

    – talent development
    – key coaching hires

Picturing those two Weasels in the same room sent me searching – this what I found – may it prove to be true.

    From Wiki
“In Japan, weasels (鼬、鼬鼠, itachi) were seen as yōkai (causing strange occurrences). According to the encyclopedia Wakan Sansai Zue from the Edo period, a pack of weasels would cause conflagrations, and the cry of a weasel was considered a harbinger of misfortune. In the Niigata Prefecture, the sound of a pack of weasels making a rustle resembled six people hulling rice, so was called the “weasel’s six-person mortar”, and it was an omen for one’s home to decline. It is said that when people chase after this sound, the sound stops.”
