    Certainly agree that Julian should be out on the field as of this incident. Whether you call it a felony or not has to be deferred to the local law and whether it is important or not to pursue. I certainly think that Julian and Clay should have been held responsible for property damage even though there were no evil intentions.

    Restitution for necessary repairs should close this case. For being a dumbass, he gets to run track every AM.

      Agree. Someone should also be reprimanded for taking this any further than the dorm assistant and the coaching staff. Sooooo many more serious incidents that need attention. A simple situation that has made headlines for months, and wasted the time of the criminal justice system.

      This is where politicians looking to appear tough on crime have the criminal justice system running amok. There is a very simple designation we need to make amongst persons charge with a crime. Is this person someone of whom we are afraid or someone by whom we are embarrassed. We need to separate the criminal-justice system and the dumbassery-growing-up system. Treating dumbassery as a crime is just stupid.
