As we all know, it’s a big weekend in Atlanta for Georgia football.
Just remember, if you’re a Georgia Tech fan, it’s a big weekend in Atlanta for you, too.

“We remember the Sugar Bowl, I think it my junior year of high school, we let Alabama beat us twice,” Brinson said of a team that also lost to the Crimson Tide in the SEC Championship game. “We’re not letting Alabama beat us twice. In the Sugar Bowl in 2018, they… thought they should have been in the playoffs and lost to Texas.” -- AB-H, 12/27/23

Good thing they are playing in Ireland or no one would be at the game, even for free cokes and hotdogs.

After this game, the Irish people will appreciate the relative excitement of the nil-nil draw.

When I heard GTU was playing their opener in Dublin, my first thought was, “What did the Irish ever do to deserve this?”

My first thought was that they may finally fill up the stadium for a game not featuring UGA or Clemson. Then I realized they weren’t talking about Dublin, Ga high school.

I plan on taking the family to see the Dragon Con parade in the morning, then hitting up a place with TVs and beer for lunch to catch the first half of the early games and warm up for the main event. Should be an awesome day (as long as the good guys win). What a historically awesome slate of games to kick off this season with…especially so since they are all spread throughout the day/weekend.
