Boys, you mess with the Ginger Assassin at your own peril.
He’s able to bend the space-time continuum to revise his game after the fact.
It turns out Cox was even more accurate than you might have thought against Arkansas.
Cox had one incompletion taken away from his initial statistics from the game because he was charged with a pass attempt on a spike that Georgia says should have been a team attempt.
That now makes Cox 18 of 25 for 375 yards on Saturday.
But don’t take my word for it.
“He throws a catchable ball that you can’t drop,” said wide receiver A.J. Green, who had seven catches for 137 yards and two touchdowns Saturday. “You have no choice but to catch the ball.”
No choice, bitches. None. Obviously, Joe could have killed Tavarres King in the huddle with a mere flick of the hand Saturday night after those two drops, but has chosen to bide his time. Thin ice, dude. I’d watch it. Offer to pick up his laundry, or something.
Wow! That puts him at 70% and 72% the last two weeks. Now, if only we had a pass defense …

Not only that, but he’s a pretty good interview. Don’t get me wrong, I loved Stafford, but his words after a game were as canned as Piggly Wiggly’s store brand grean beans.

After our loss to Oklahoma State, I said on here that I was going to wait until week 3 before jumping off of the Joe Cox bandwagon. Glad I waited. It’s one of the few times I’ve actually saved myself from looking like an idiot.

Could you say you’re going to wait until the end of season to jump on the Fire Willie bandwagon?
You don’t have to believe it. Just say it.
Apparently you have some sort of magical powers that we can exploit to our advantage.
Please…I’m begging you. I can’t take any more shootouts.

I think our only hope at this point is for Willie to start getting on the Ginger Assassin’s bad side.

Maybe we need the secondary and DEs to get on the Ginger Ninja’s bad side.
“You have no choice but to cover that f’ing receiver, bitch.”

Agreed, Turd. Glad I waited before bashing Cox.
I texted a few friends during the Ark game about Cox’s passes and how ‘catchable’ they were….especially compared to Stafford’s. How many throws per game did Stafford overthrow? I’m not trying to bash Stafford either, but he had trouble putting touch on long passes, something so far Cox seems to have down.

Comic genius, that’s what this is!
As for Joe, I think we’re just beginning to see what he’s capable of. I hated losing to OSU, but I think it lit a fire under this offense to start producing immediately. Maybe our defense will catch on!
One can only hope…

One more thing to think about:
If T.King catches that TD pass, then Joe finishes with numbers that look something like this:
19/24 400+ yds and 6TD’s. That’s friggin’ ridiculous Big XII stuff, 79% and all

Yep, no need to kiss the Cox ring, but you might wanna wash his car.

Huh huh huh. You said Cox ring. Huh huh huh.

Hail Joe! Unfortunately, he and his offense shouldn’t have to be scoring 38+ points per game (Don’t get me wrong, I am loving the lit up scoreboard, it’s just not a sustainable mission statement unless you play in the WAC.) just to beat typically mid-tier SEC teams. Come on, D, time to pull your weight!

Imagine if Joe had been 100% for Okie State.
I think the outcome would have at least been closer, if not completely different.

Forget it. The homer Okie State refs were never going to let the Dawgs leave Stillwater with a win.
