“I’m a Gator,” he said. “That’s what I am right now.”

It sounds like Will Muschamp’s got some serious internal recruiting to attend to.

When your clearest option for transfer is Division III football and you can’t rule that out entirely, that’s not exactly a vote of personal confidence for the regime change.

  1. Go Dawgs!

When you consider that a pro-style offense would fit Brantley’s skill set infinitely better than Meyer’s spread option, and he STILL isn’t sure about staying in Gainesville… I wonder what the heck is wrong. Not that I’m not loving the fact that something appears to be wrong!

Can’t he take the Masoli route to transferring? Just get kicked out, find some contrived major course study at another BCS school and claim that you need to move there for your degree.

I think the NCAA has now eliminated that loophole, actually, or atleast that’s what I thought was in the works.

    Russ-
If it suits the NCAA for that to happen then it can.

I thought that he was the best pro-style QB in the SEC last season…what happened? Now he is a d-3 hopeful?

Brantley’s best option is the NAIA. No kidding. They’ll welcome him with open arms. I hear Azusa Pacific (an 8,000 student institution in the Los Angeles area) is looking for a QB.

Boys, if we don’t beat them next year, we might not ever. I seriously believe we have to beat them for Rich to keep his job. It’s that big. The time is right. It’s a 2 game season. Beat South Carolina, beat Florida…and you probably win the East. Tennessee plays @ Arky, vs. Bama, vs. LSU. Florida plays @ LSU, @ Auburn, and vs. Bama. The ‘Cocks get @ Arky, @MSU, and vs. Auburn. Plus, we host Auburn and South Carolina.

We have to beat Florida. We have to win the East. It’s that simple. Whip ’em into shape, Coach T.

The time was right to beat them THIS season. Didn’t happen. FU after FU during the game. If any of the FUs don’t happen UGA wins. If UGA had won that game we would have won 2 out of the last 4. We could have started a new trend in favor of UGA with a win in 2011 (3 UGA wins out of the last 5). Another missed opportunity. “No use crying over spilt milk” as they say. Let’s just start a new UGA streak by winning in 2011.

I’m very pleased to see that Johnny’s career at Florida turn into a complete and utter bust. May every Gator QB henceforth experience the same lack of success.
