Oh, what might have been.

Let’s just say this is easily the most disappointing headline of the week.

Dyer smoke spice “consistently” during his college career … oh yeah Auburn runs a clean program alright.

How many games did Dyer miss in his Auburn career due to drug suspensions?

If the President of this institution that we all support really wants to have an impact on the NCAA and representation in a football playoff, he should just focus on developing a consistent and mandatory drug testing/penalty policy for all Div 1A football playing schools.

Between our team’s expected suspensions and the recent news coming out of places like Auburn & FL, it is obvious to me that our athletic department is operating differently.

Maybe we can shift to a conference more in line with our values – I think the Patriot League and the Ivy are interested in expansion.

    Just announced, guilty as charged.
I went to school with the defense attorney, to my non-lawyer eyes she didn’t have much to work with.

Well hell…smoking spice was legal so what’s the problem? Just some kids having fun….with guns…and armed robbery. I’m sure they followed the Auburn creed as they robbed their victims.

I wonder if the judge would have made Trooper put his shirttail in?

Here’s a sobering quote from a follow up article:

“Lauderdale also said that Jacob Tyler Smith, who was a resident of the home that was robbed but was not home during the incident, was a drug supplier for Auburn’s football team.”

Regardless of football rivalries, this is a sickening story.

Also, how is Dyer not an accomplice? He handed over his gun knowing the boys were about to hit a lick…

It pains the entire Alabama nation to see such hardships at their most hated rival.

You can hear the cries and gnashing of teeth from here. And the pulling of hair and the poisoning of trees.

Thought Dyer said it was stolen from him. This after they tried to get him to go and rob with them. Why not stick up the illegal supplier? Who’s he going to complain to?
