Urban Meyer, beware: Warren Sapp is ready to rumble.

Presented without comment:

Ex-Canes star Warren Sapp, on a Showtime conference call Tuesday for Inside the NFL, called UF coach Urban Meyer ”a classless dirtbag” for kicking a field goal late in Florida’s 26-3 win against UM. ”But it’s coming back in a big way” when the teams meet in 2013, he said.

That’s pretty damn funny. It’s a shame Sapp is retired, I’d love to see him put Tebow on his back in the NFL…then again, Sapp usually went after quarterbacks, not running backs…so nevermind.

  3. Darryl Strawberry, you’ve had it out for me ever since you found out I don’t have kids and it takes me an entire football season to finish a handle of whiskey. This ends at my tailgate at UGA/BAMA. You, Me, drink off.

I thought I was really clever putting Tebow at RB, but you one-up’d me with the CFL comment. I won’t allow you to make a fool out of me any further! Harumph! Harumph!

It’s a big deal to Warren Sapp, and it’s a big deal to Warren’s Sapp’s team, and it will forever more be in the mind of Warren Sapp. But Warren Sapp will handle it, and his team will handle it.

What’s Warren going to do? Get a sideline pass in 2013 and hit Urban Meyer with his walker?

By the way, I loved Warren’s sensitive portrayal of an offensive guard in The Replacements. It was good to see him challenge himself with a new and different kind of role. I totally bought him as a guy who could unload a handgun clip into someone else’s car in a parking lot to make a point. Genius.

Mack and Darryl, you are both grown men and the only way to settle this is the way true gentlemen would:

    Dance off.
